John,
If you would be so kind as to pass on this prayer request to your other prayer chains I would appreciate it. My husband Larry was diagnosed with Stage Four Colon Cancer May of 2005. Since that time he underwent successful surgery on his colon but the cancer had already spread to his liver. He has been receiving chemotherapy treatment along with the drug Avastin for 7 months now. He had a scan last month that showed the tumors had shrunk over 50%. The doctor's thought he would be a candidate for a procedure called Ablation but it turned out that he was not a candidate because the tumors are in both lobes of his liver. We have added our own therapy of AVE (Avemar - a fermented wheat germ therapy) since that time. He will be scanned again in March. I believe that with God all things are possible. Please pray for a complete shrinkage of these tumors. It would be a miracle if this happens according to all the medical statistics for colon cancer. Their statistics only give my husband 5 years if he can continue to take chemo therapy and respond from the treatments. The treatments are very hard on him and he tires easily. Please pray for divine healing and renewed strength for my husband. Thank you and God Bless Lisa Westbrook 22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to hear God say “Your faith has made you whole! I have known those who have been healed, and those who have overcome cancer once, twice and even three times. God always knows what is best. You will be in my prayers. May His love surround you as you go through this difficult time. May He give Larry renewed strength and you both peace beyond all understanding.
