Hi,
I have been a believer for 19 years. However, I never experienced the God who provides (Gen 22:13,14) and never lets His children go hungry (Prov 10:3) and the God Who supplies all our needs (Jehovah, Jireh) until we stepped out in faith.
When I was living a comfortable life, I thought I believed God for everything but now I realise that I was still working in my own strength.
The transition to where I am now was painful and dotted with immense worry and uncertainty. I wrote to the board several times asking for prayer and I appreciate it all. But 2 years later, I am glad to say, I may have nothing BUT I know that He will provide.
I now know that there are times when God will lead us to a point where we depend on Him entirely before He will use us.
In Christ alone,
Willy

Praise God for you, I pray that he uses you in a mighty way. "The more you know, the more you should realize how much you have to learn" Slade "God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you" (1 Sam 12:23) "let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified" (70 Ps 4) All scriptures are King James (Authorized) Version unless otherwise noted http://www.geocities.com/walkinlovelivebyfaith/

Willy I am happy for you that you are growing in your faith and wisdom. ?You are so right t hat we have to come to the end of ourselves sometimes before we realize that we need to totally need God and yield ourselves to him after all he said in the word " what have you recieved that you haven't been given by God". We must consider that he has given us our life, health, intellect, ability to get wealth and spouce and children, and ect, ect as well as food, clothes and home and basic needs. It is not all just money. We must be thankful and faithful with what we DO have and seek his will.

Willy,
What strong faith. Unfortunately for most of us we have to go through a storm before we realize that can not make it without the Lord. For the past few years I was asking the Lord to make me a good stewart of my finances yet I kept on spending money on nonsense. Well guess what, I lost a high paying job over six months ago and now I have no other choice but to be a good stewart over the little that I now have. I now realize that I can do absolutely nothing without the Lord.
I will continue to lift you up in my prayers
