Hello Board -
It has been a long time since I've been on. I praise God that the activity on it is still very strong. God is so awesome. Need you all to pray for my sister and my brother-in-law. They live in Abbeyville, LA and we lost contact with them on very early on Saturday morning. At that point we knew they were ok but that was prior to all of the flooding. Their house is very close to the Vermillion River and we are very concerned. Please join with me asking the Lord for safety, protection and healing for everyone in that area and all who have been affected by this rash of storms. PRAISE REPORT!!!
We heard from my sister late Monday night. She and my brother-in-law were evacuated to LaFayette and were to go back home to check on things Tuesday. Haven't heard back from her yet. Please continue to pray that God's loving hand of mercy spared them and their home. Thanks, Howie |

ANOTHER PRAISE REPORT!!!
God spared their home!! My sister said it was unbelievable. There was flooding all around them but her small neighborhood was spared. Thank you so very much for your prayers. What a tremendous testimony to the love of God. Howie |
