Last week I suffered a mild concussion from a hit to the head by a bar that came down off the cable machine while I was working at the
YMCA. It's now been a week. I feel better then I did when it happened, but still don't feel like myself. I had to go to see the workman's comp doctor and not my family doctor. He didn't really do any thorough test like a cat scan. He checked me over, was aware of my symptoms and said that I did get a mild concussion. He said that he was 99% sure that if he sent me for a cat scan, it would come back fine. So now I'm not sure if I have peace of mind that I'm okay. My progress does seem to be getting better, but I'm just uneasy. I hit to the head is not a simple matter. I've had head trauma before. 20 years ago I had an operation on the head for a blood clot and 5 years ago I got a concussion. That time my family doctor was thorough and sent me for cat scan, MRI and to my neurologist.
Everything was fine and at least I had peace of mind. Please Christian Friends, pray for me. I need peace of mind that I am definitly fine and pray to be back to myself real soon.

Dear Lisa, I'm so sorry to hear you are struggling. Can you not go ahead and go to your own doctor for a second opinion? I would certainly want that. My prayer for you now is this: Father God, You are our Healer. Be with Lisa. Comfort her and grant her Your assurance that her life is in Your hands. Father, go before her and guide her into that which You would have her do. Please protect her and heal her completely! We ask this in Jesus Most Holy Name! Trustworthy is our God!
