Sharon,
I have a 4 year old boy that has a hard time speaking and adjusting also. I have been praying and asking God to teach me how to help him. My wife and I have been praying over him before he goes to sleep and when he wakes up. May the Lord continue to clam there hearts and through his grace and mercy may there be a change for his service and glory. I will go in prayer for you and your daughter. May the Lord open the heavens for your family. 22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23 John Trevino |

Thanks so much for sharing. sometimes when you have children that are "different", it is a lonely place. I covet your prayers.

Father -
We lift Grace to you and ask for your guiding touch in her life. Lord there is no one to big or to small that You cannot help to change. Move her heart supernaturally and allow to experience and understand the joy and peace the submitting to authority brings. Help her to maintain a sweetness of spirit in all that she does and says. Father be with her teachers, give them help in guiding, loving and helping Grace through this transistion period. Father keep Sharon's heart soft and pliable. Let her know your peace and to understand that her eyes are to be on You Father and not the circumstances surrounding these issues. Father, you have the final word, not the circumstances. May your love, peace and joy flood the school and household. We love you and claim these things in your precious son's name. Amen |

Dear Sharon, how is your daughter doing in school? Have you seen any change at all in the teacher's response to her? Praying for you! Terri

Dear Sharon, both my son and I have been diagnosed ADD. We have tried Ritlin and Adarall and both have had terrible side effects. There is a non-amphetimine Statera; but, I don't know the side effects. Right now, I am trying a B-12, B-6, Folic acid combination with more protein in the diet. I need to also add exercise. Hopefully, this will be a better solution. I will be thinking of you. As for the stubborn side, I wish I had tried distraction when my son was small rather than trying to meet him headon. Oh, also, I know discipline (routine) is critical. It can work wonders to add order and decrease confusion. May God be with You as You learn to meet Grace's needs. Much love, Ter

Sharon,
May prayers are with your family! May the Lord intercede for Grace and restore her concentration. May your love and peace give her a sound mind. In Jesus Name! Amen! 22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23 John Trevino |

Sharon, that's wonderful news! I am so very happy for you and for her. May God bless your husband and son. May He grant them grace and keep them in His watchcare. May He give them many opportunities to see His power manifest through them as they walk in obedience to His Spirit. And, may your family be blessed abundantly for your faithfulness to our Lord. <3 lots, Terri
