Hello. I am in desperate need of God's help and am humbly requesting that all of you pray for me. This is very important to me, my family and our future.

Last fall I began college classes at the age of 41. I am studying to be a medical assistant. I have done very well, making the honor roll and dean's list ever since I started school. (Thank You, God!)

Here is my problem:

I am now at the point of my education where I need to take Medical Assisting Basic Procedures and I have been told that my acceptance is questionable due to the popularity of the program and the number of students wanting in.

Confused

I was told to show up to the orientation on September 21 with my transcript. I am hoping that my perfect attendance and high GPA will help me to get in.

The industry my husband is in is shaky right now so I want to be able to begin my new career just in case something bad happens to his job.

(I thank God every day for my husband's job)

So, if you would please be so kind as to pray that I make it into the class, and pass my need on to other prayer warriors, I would greatly appreciate it! I am very nervous about this. I have worked so hard to get to this point, and I really hope and pray that it hasn't been for nothing.

Thanks, and God Bless You and Yours!

In Jesus' name, I thankfully pray, Amen

Almighty Father in Heaven,

I lift up BrendaC and her family to You. We know from Your word that You control all things and that You cause all things to work for good to those who love You and to those who are called according to Your purpose.(Romans 8:28) May Your perfect will be done in their lives and may they put their trust and faith in You.

Amen

Philippians 4:4-8 tells us how we can find peace during our anxious times. First, determine to rejoice in ALL things. Second, present your request to God with thanksgiving in prayer and supplication. Third, keep your mind from being anxious by replacing your thoughts with things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, good repute, excellent and praiseworthy. Dwell on those things.

May His peace comfort and strengthen you in this anxious time.

First of all, God has a plan for you and he is in charge of all things. I pray for the desires of your heart to manifest, as wee agree in faith. I stand in agreement with you and dwalk76 as we ask God for his divine word and promises. In Jesus Name! Amen!

God's Love never fails!

22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

SmileHello Brenda,
A note of encouragement and prayer that our Lord lifts you up out of your fear (driven by satan) and He gives you the faith, confidence, and peace you need to do God's will.

Certified Medical Assistant vocation is listed as one of the fastest growing, necessary to assist medical field due to the natl' nursing shortage and rising healthcare costs.

From my experience, medical programs often apply pressure/stress on students intentionally to "weed-out" those lacking the drive and confidence to persevere.

If you prayerfully consulted God for His guidance/direction in your life and felt His blessing to start the program, He will see you through the end.

Put your TRUST in Him, keeping in mind He may do it His way, not yours - which could result in a different pathway or outcome than you expected - a different door of opportunity (for your good) that you never imagined! So keep persevering!

God Bless,
Marsha

Thanks for the words of encouragement, but my hopes and dreams have been blown to hell. My husband has no job now, school is probably out for me now, I am not sure yet, but it doesn't look very positive.

It is very hard to hang on and keep trusting when the main thing I encounter in my life is a big brick wall. I just can't seem to ever get a positive break in my life. I just can't take this anymore.

I really just don't know what to do now. Seems every time I draw closer to My Heavenly Father, everything falls apart. I don't understand, and I don't know how to get up and dust myself off this time.

Any suggestions? I really need help and advice. I feel very, very lost.

Since yesterday I have done a great deal of crying, fasting and praying. I have been in consistent prayer not just for my family but for the victims of Katrina as well. I have really done nothing but pray. I was not going to let this defeat me and succomb to satan's games. I have been fighting very hard not to be angry and give up.

Today I found out that my husband will have until October 31 at his current job. He also has been contacted by a company he used to work for and they want him back. Praise God! We will not know for sure if he will be working there. He has an interview tomorrow morning.

I am still working to get into that class and have spoken to the director of the program. She told me that based upon my grades and attendance, things look very positive for me, although she cannot give me a 100% guarantee, which I understand.

Please keep praying for us, my friends. I feel a great connection to all of you on this board and I appreciate all of your kind words, encouragement and prayers. Thank you very much and may God Bless You in the ways you need it most.

I will keep you updated, and again, THANK YOU for your prayers and support.

Just a little update.

My husband called me today to tell me that one company has offered him a job at a salary that is a little more than what he makes now. Another company wants him to work for them. It will now come down to who makes the better offer. THANK YOU FATHER!!!

As far as my class goes, I will not know until September 21 if I am in or not. So, please keep praying for that situation. Although I am encouraged by what the director of the program said, I will still be anxious until I know for sure. It's in God's Hands now, and I am doing my best to just relax and trust.

*satan is trying hard to get to me though and it's sometimes very difficult to fight him*

THANK YOU for your prayers and support. I will keep you updated.

God Bless you ALL!

The Bible tells us that everything works out for the good to those who love him. I claim that verse for you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I know the Lord has good plans for you and he shall bring them to pass.

Brenda: Be encouraged, as God is in control. Things may appear be in chaos when we look through the physical eye, however when we see things in the spiritual, we must acknowledge the power of God and that He will do exactly what He says He will do.

Steadfast in the Word and hold on to the grip of faith. You family will get through this.In Jesus Name ! Amen!
