This site was recommended for my best friend (my Sis) Barb, her beautiful 29 yr old daughter Gina Geanell Lovegren (and was her best friend) was tragiclly kiled May 13 2005 in a car accident, her loving husband of 7 years, 7 yr old daughter and 14 yr old stepson survived. Barb and I also work for the same conpany, Cliff, her husband and Gina's Dad are devoted Christians but now struggle moment by moment and each day they are hanging on by a thread.
any words of encouragement would be greatly appreiciated. She was also recommended to check out the "Angel Fire" web site for greveing parents, don't realy know if that's helped any.

When I lost my Grandma, I felt like dying too. My Grandma was the most precious one to me. At her funeral, the pastor said something that made it not hurt so much:

"Don't look at it as that she 'died', but rather, she has passed through the birth canal into eternal life."

Sure, I hurt every day because I can't see my Grandma or talk to her, but those words the pastor said carry so much comfort that I can smile upon remembering that I was blessed enough to have such a wonderful person in my life.

It hurts so much when people we love die. I'm going to pray for all of you. I also hope I have helped in some way.

May God's peace be with you all in this time of great pain.

I ask that you comfort this family right now... Lord we need you in every way. We thank you that you love us enough to see us through all things. Father, we ask that you revolve yourself in a mighty way. Step in and remove the hurt and replace it with the peace that only you can. Lord we stand right now in agreement with one another that you will do it right now.

We thank you and we praise you right now.
