Hello dear people of God!

I am writing to you all from Mitchellville, MD.

I would ask that you all would please pray for me. My name is Ginger.

I am currently going through a hard time right now, with my health and finances. I am currently on disability and I am feeling conflict within my heart because I live with my mother and she is charging me rent, about $350.00 per month. I only receive $521.10 a month, so as you can tell, that doesn't leave me with very much.

It's like I barely have enough money and I am feeling angry and very frustrated about this situation.

Also, I am in the process of being evaluated for free computer training through a state agency. If this comes through, it will pave the way to a better job. I guess what I really need is prayers that God will help me to endure the hardship in the meantime and to not harbor any feelings of ill will toward my mom.

I still tithe and give offerings of what I receive to my local church. I don't want to stop doing that, because I believe in supporting the work of the kingdom of God.

I am in the process of just waiting to hear if I will be able to start the computer training. I do need the training, because although I type really fast and can use English grammar quite well, my computer application knowledge is not that great. I need the training to land a really good paying job.

I'm just really frustrated and I am tired of not having enough money for myself to do things and to give more to the work of the gospel.
Please pray for my patience to hold up until my change comes. Thank you.

I know what you are going through, I myself have been there. Like Habakkuk, instead of complaining, he is praising the Lord. I am happy to see that you’re still tithing too. See God will turn sighing into singing if we (like Habakkuk) take time to wait before him in prayer and listen to his Word.

First, the prophet prays (Habakkuk 3:2) Habakkuk is simply asking the Lord to keep on working. He knows that there will be wrath and judgment, but he prays that God will remember mercy too. Habakkuk knew God had worked in the past, and therefore he could trust him to work in the present and future. In other words, God is going to Bless you tremendously! Wait on the Lord; see Habakkuk shows us how to deal with life’s problems. Habakkuk looked through the fog and mist and wondered at God’s program, but in Christ we Know God’s plans for this age (Ephesians 1:8-10; 3:1-21) continue to talk with God about your problems; wait quietly before him in prayer and meditate on His Word.
