Dear family in Christ,
It's been a while since I've logged in. After several years of trying to make it, the divorce is final, and I am finding it very hard to find my direction. I know the Lord is always with me, but my daily steps seemed to by without a certain since of peace and direction. I suppose that's to be expected, but it doesn't make it any easier to go through at this time. Please pray for me to stay fixed in Christ and follow his lead. To stay in the Word and find my direction there. Blessing to you all. In Him Faith.

Dearest Faith,
I am so terribly sorry for your loss. It seemed to me that when Al and I divorced, it was worse than death. I knew he was still nearby; yet, I couldn't see him and no one really wanted me to talk about him. Life was scary. I had never really been alone. I didn't look forward to facing the future alone as a middle-aged woman. But, in the past 8 years, God has shown Himself to be faithful and my true Provider and the Lover of my soul. He will be with you and will comfort you when you feel no one understands. My prayer for you is this: Father God, You are so gracious and merciful. You know the depths of our hearts and the pain we experiencce as we go through the divorce process. You know it feels as if our very life is being ripped apart, and the darkness seems it will never leave. Grant Faith now, the gift of Your presence. Grant her the light of Your love. Grant that she may know that even in this seemingly impossible situation, You will still make a way for her...that You will go before her and that You have a wonderful plan for her life. Grant her peace and financial provision. Grant that she may find You in a new way everytime she goes to Your Word. Grant her a sense of purpose and direction and establish the work of her hands according to Your Word and Your promise. We commit her to Your loving care, Father, knowing that You are faithful and that You will do all that we have asked and more. Thank You for what You have done for Faith, and for what You are going to do. Trustworthy is our God!
