Well, I guess my subject matter wasn't worthy of any replies.
Thanks anyway,
God Bless

Dear Lori,

Your post was very worthy - and you came to the right place. Please be patient. I'm sure you will see several encouraging posts today.

I'm very glad that Barb has you in her life during this trying time. God will use you in a mighty way to help her through and to also draw her closer to God.

Your Brother in Christ,
Steve T.

Dear Lori,

I have been away from the boards for a while. I just started back to school and have been studying a lot.

Your post is very worthy and we really do care.

Please hang in there and may God's Peace surround all of you in this time of grief.

Your Sis in Christ,
Brenda

Lori,
I would like to say I do not not always post; however, I am praying for those with needs. I am s ure there are others on the board doing the same. I can say that with full confidence, because many of my prayers has been answered in the past several years of me being on the message board.

Please do not get discouraged as Jesus hears and answers ALL prayers.

Lord, please show yourself strong in this and every situation in our life. Master we need your right now.

Amen

Lori,

The loss of a loved one is a very hard thing to bear. I am praying the Lord will give her grace for every moment. May those about her be patient with her and may she come to the place she can channel her grief in a way that will help someone else.

Please give her special hugs for her birthday from all of us.

Good morning Lori -

Please forgive us if we always do not respond in a timely manner. It doesn't mean that we haven't seen your post or prayed. We all sometimes get caught up in the day to day and it tends to carries us away. It is no excuse, but it is true. We humbly ask your forgiveness.

Know that there are many of us here on the board who share the pain and sorrow associated with losing someone we loved very deeply.

I know of no pain so intense and potentially devastating. But, we serve a loving God who promises to never leave us nor forsake us. He is there no matter how heavy our load. In fact He knows so well that He tells us to cast those cares upon Him because He cares so very much. He also invites us to come unto Him so that He may give us rest.

He weeps with us and knows our hurt. But He promises us that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. And with that joy comes His incredible strength to endure the hardships of life. But, we do not have to fear for we never go through these storms alone. He tells us not fear, because He is with us. And not to be dismayed for He is YOUR God. He promises to strengthen, to help and uphold you with the right hand of His righteousness.

He tells us to be strong and of a good courage for the Lord God, He is with you.

His promises are there for Barb and for you. He doesn't give us all of the answers to these incredibly difficult life questions. He simply asks us to believe in Him and His sufficiency.

My encuuragement to you Lori is to be there for Barb. Love her like Jesus would. When she is weak or seems down, lift her up to Him and give her to Him. Lori, His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Know that you do not have to have all of the answers, but instead let Barb know that He loves her so very much and He will be there beside her to lift her and comfort her every step of the way.

I praise God for your heart and your ministry to your sister. Thank you for having a heart that is steady toward Him especially in the times of trouble. It is an awesome encouragement to others to see a brother or sister choosing to stand on that Rock Who is God, the anchor, Jesus Christ.

God bless you my sister.

Howard
