Thanks to all for this website and the daily messages. I find a lot of strenth in the daily devotional. My son, 23 has a seriours drinking and drug abuse problem. He cant keep a job, school or friends. I know in my heart he is a good yound man who needs the power of Jesus Christ in his life. I also know whatever happens is God's will and not mine. I've turned him over to God and asked for his blessing and guidence. I would appriciate your prayer to lift him up and ask for salvation and intervention.

I too, have found strength in the daily devotionals. And I too, have been through the pain of having an adult child that has the disease of addiction. Prayer, and fully turning her over to God brought her back to me after living on the streets for 5 years, and she has been clean for 18 months. I will keep your son Chris in my prayers. God is right there with your son, even if Chris doesn't see Him now. Keep your faith strong, God is in control.

It's true that when two or three gather together in the name of Jesus Christ and touch and agree on one accord in the name of Jesus; prayers go up and blessings come down. We as parents have that Godly love for our children (unconditional love)and we don't want to see our children suffer. I will be praying with you and for your son. My son use to sell drugs and I started praying for him and I asked God to not allow him to continue in that lifestyle. I gave it to God and let go. Within weeks; my son came to me and said that he couldn't understand why but everything he went to do something would go wrong; he would either lose money or someone would steal the drugs or he couldn't make connection with the person or something. All I could say was "thank you Jesus". When I told him that I had a talk with God about him and God had worked it out. My son got a legal job (wasn't making as much money) but it was an honest living and so many good things started happening in his life. And I know that the same God who came to my parental cry will come to you and save your son.
Dedicate Christ back to God and you will see the change in him.....then just give God the praise.

Lord, I stand in agreement with Larry your child. Lord we plead the blood over Chris your child. Lord, we know the enemy desires to steal, kill and destroy our children – but we also know that you defeated him on the CROSS. Lord, we pray for guidance for Chris. We pray that the veal is removed in the name of Jesus immediately. We pray you send Godly people into his life and remove un-Godly people right now. We stand on your word. We stand on your promises. We stand on the blood that was sheded for our sins. We walk by faith and not by sight. Chris is saved. Chris is delivered. Chris is an over comer. Chris is your child. For this reason we say thank you and, amen.
