Dear sisters and brothers in faith,

I have been struggling in my spiritual life for some time now. I struggle with my discipline to be prayerful and to read the Word of God.

I love the Lord with my all, but most of the time, I don't believe I am doing all that I know I can do to please Him.

When I go to church or fellowship with others, I see them praising the Lord freely. I don't want to be restricted in my praise, but often, that is how I feel.

I want to be close to the Lord! I want to rejoice and I want Him to be pleased with me. I want to be a witness for Him, but what can I do if I don't know the Word and lack the discipline to pray and study.

I try, but I become bored and then I become guilty and then depressed.

I don't want to give up. I don't want to go to hell. I want to be saved. I want to know the Lord in every way. I truly want to be passionate for Christ!

Please keep me in prayer. Pray for my courage, my strength, my discipline, my faith renewed and undying and a cheerful spirit, heart and mind!

I am in love with a gentleman who loves the Lord and he encourages me to be faithful and prayerful. But I keep thinking about the scripture that talks about being unequally yoked. I wonder how I can walk into a marriage with someone when my faith is this weak.

Would not God want me to be closer to him before I can claim to be in love and passionate about someone else?

I just need your prayers everyone. I just want to be on fire for God and I just don't know what else to do. I don't want to give up!

Your prayers, your wisdom and your advice is more than appreciated.

Thank God for this ministry and for His grace and mercy.

In His Love I am truly yours.

WM,
I am proud of you. I am proud that you acknowledge your hindrance, your situation. That is the first step to your deliverance is knowing what you need to be delivered from.

Now, this is not going to be easy. Walking with Christ is not simple. It is the hardest thing to do. The reason why is because you are a chosen woman of God. God knew you before you were born. He knew your ministry. He knows what he has in store for you. The seed was planted in the beginning. Yet like a seed, it takes time to grow. Some seeds are different than others – they grow faster, some take nurturing, watering and lots of love.

My spirit is very humble right now because I, too, was once in this position. As a child of Christ, you have to crawl before you walk. If you can dedicate time each day – whether its 10 minutes or 15 minutes, ½ hour for two things. One: to pray for the full length of time. If you don't know what to pray for then pray for others. When I pray, I pray like I am talking to my FATHER (there will be times when I laugh and tell jokes with him, there will be times that I gossip with him and then there will be times when I ask him for his guidance because like a parent, he may be upset, He may be disappointed but loves me no matter what and He rather me come to him then to anybody else!).

The second thing, is to read your word for the same length of time (EVERYDAY). Ask God to show you what he wants you to read. The Contemporary Bible may be a new way to start reading or a Woman's Devotional Bible. Sometimes the King James Version can be difficult and boring for those who are not so traditional.

Also, when you are fellowshipping with others and see them praying freely, don't feel as if you have duplicate or praise the way others praise. This point has to be made because the praise is not coming from the heart. GOD looks at your heart. Not how you display to others that you love him. I will say that he is a jealous God though. Each person has their own way of praising him and of giving him his glory. You have yours. God is not the author of confusion. You have a fierce praise within you. He will allow that to shine through, when you are ready, willing and able.

The GDW family is here for you.....with all of your questions, he will answer them.

Heavenly Father,
I come before you bringing my sister in Christ to you. Lord, you are not the author of confusion, frustration nor hindrance. I bind Satan, the principalities of darkness and wickedness in high places from this sister's life in Jesus name! Lord, she is seeking you. She is calling for you, she is asking for you to restore a new thing within her. Lord we praise you in advance for her deliverance, for your seed to grow within her, for her dilengence, for her fiery spirit! I thank you daddy, for all that you are doing in her life. She has many questions that only you can answer, we thank you for your word. We praise you for your promises to your children.
Holy Spirit, I ask that you flow within her like never before. Lord, breathe on her. I thank you for her salvation and your unconditional love. We love you Lord! In Jesus name.
AMEN!

Be encouraged. Have a blessed prosperous day!

WM,

Praise God for your courage and for your request. The Lord knows your heart and is he is willing and loving anytime, anyday.

Heavenly Father,

We come to you with this request may you fill her heart with your grace and mercy. Feed her spirit as she draws closer to you. As she surrenders her life to you Lord open the path of rigtheous so she may be a walking testimony of your word and pomises. Grant her the vision and purpose of her life for your guidance, service, and glory. Promote her with inner peace knowing your everlasting arms are open forever.

May the power of God's Spirit pour on your spirit today in abundance! Amen!

22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

WM,

Remember that Satan WANTS you to feel guilty to the point where you lack the desire to seek after God. When you are running this race and fall to your knees, Satan is wanting you to stay there and feel guilty that you are not whatever you think you need to be in order to be an on fire Christian. God wants you to get up and keep running and watch your step next time,,,,but just keep running, never stay on your knees with a cloud of guilt over you. Allow God to fight your fights and carry your burdens. You can't ever do enough to earn your place as one of God's children. God wants you to know that He accepts you exactly the way you are. Be excited about that, this faith must be your own and no one else's. Talk to God and tell Him everything that you feel. He knows it anyways.

Father, I lift up WM to you today and ask that you pour Your grace and mercy on to her and show her how much You love her. Father I ask that you give her the strength and wisdom to resist the lies of Satan. In Jesus name, Amen

7in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- 9not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:7-9)

6For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love. 7You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth? 8That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you. (Galations 5:6-8)

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.(Hebrews 12:1)

Your brother in Christ,

Shawn

I am praying the prayer for you that Paul prayed for the Colossians in Colossians 1:9-11.....that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you would walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy.
Psalm 119:11 David's prayer said" Thy word have I hidden in my heart so I might not sin against thee."
Jesus told his followers "to pray lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit is ready but the flesh is weak." I can relate to your problem of not being diciplined enough to read his word and pray. I suffer from that tendancy too. I'm basically lazy but I'm doing better now. I find that it helps if I have a plan. If I write down scriptures that are important to me I remember them better. Sometimes I look up scriptures on a certain subject. I take notes. The bible says that if we draw near to God, he willl draw near to us. Faith comes by reading and hearing the word. Make a habit of spending time with God at the same time every day. Pray a little each morning before you start the day.
