Our Pastor (Pastor Karl Silva) and team (5 in all) went to Orissa (a state in the eastern part of in India) last week for a village mission harvest. On their last day, they were arrested by the police for preaching the gospel. The police received complaints from a fanatic Hindu group that our team were 'hurting religious sentiments' . Our team has been in prison for three days and have an unbailable warrant. They have a very Hindu, anti-christian government in that state. Please pray for the hearing on Tuesday, that the judge would grant them all bail and that the case would be withdrawn. Pray for their protection, and health and favour with the judge.

"Father, we ask for Your protection over the team as they wait on You for their rescue. We ask You to show Yourself through this team so that the judge can come to know You and that many come into the kingdom. Bind up the evil forces that are trying to stop the gospel from going to these people. Lord, we entrust them into Your care and look forward to what You will do in this situation. We pray health and saftey and faith to prevail in their lives. May Your glory be revealed to this Hindu government so that salvation may come". In Christ's holy and matchless name. amen

I will be praying for Karl and the team members for protection and that they would be delivered from these troubles. Great will be their rewards in heaven for suffering such persecution and trials.

I would like to thank everyone who prayed for our Pastor and the team. By God's grace they have been released on bail. The case is not yet closed. But we trust in our living God for working out a miracle. During their stay in the prison, the team were able to lead 7 men to salvation. Praise God for the 7 lives that is saved!!

Most Gracious and Holy Father,
This is nothing new to you and we ask that just as you have done before you will do it again grant fair judgment. I ask that you protect those who are in jail and I ask that give them favor in there hearing. Lord we ask these things in your mighty and holy name. Amen
