My Husband and I have been separated for 2 years. I had been partially walking with the Lord and when my marriage collapsed, I thought it was for the best. But as time progressed, I realized my mistakes and I came back to the Lord. I am standing in the gap for my marriage and family but I am getting weary and losing faith. I remain prayful My husband is very bitter towards me and all of a sudden pushing for a divorce. I think its because there is another party involved. He says he still loves me but too much damage has been done. We have three boys ages 6, 9 and 12.

Lord we pray that you show ShayShay the road that she needs to take. Help her to becoam ecloser to you rather than farther away. Lord only you know the true reason that her husband is pushing for a divorice and I do ask Lord that the reason be shown to all involved so that they can work through these problems with your name help high and your will to be done. And Lord we ask that no matter what your will is that your protect these boys and their mother so that they walk out of this stronger in you than otherwise would have been possible. We pray these things in your name

I also when through a similar situation with my ex. However it was me that fianlly pushed for the divorce. I know that God has a plan for you and your family and I will be praying for you. the road ahead is going to be rough, but keep God in control and all else will fall into place according to his will. Father God, my heart is hurt for ShayShay, her husband, and their children. Although ShayShay cannot completely control her husband’s feelings toward this divorce, I ask that you give her wisdom as to how she is to respond to this situation. You have proven that nothing is too damaged beyond repair. You have saved us and proven that no matter how damaged with sin we were, you still welcomed us into a relationship with You. Help my sister to stay strong and not lose heart.

ShayShay- It is encouraging that you have humbled yourself and have been honest in asking for prayer. It is always difficult to give detailed advice in a method such as this. The good news is that God’s Word is the best advice anyone can give you. Continue to seek Him and His answers and encouragement.

I have had many times were I thought my wife and I WOULDN''T MAKE IT, but the Lord is faithful with are submission. We have to really get on our knees and seek his face and his word. I pray God molds and shape your husband and you for his service & glory. The Lord continues to prune my wife and I DAILY. AS WE PRESS INTO THE LORD, He STARTS showing as our plans are not his.
