I am facing the most trying crisis that can almost lead one to think that God is not listening to your prayer.

My dad and mum are both jobless, my dad having lost his job 2yrs ago. He has been in search of one but with no success till today. Unpaid bills have pilled up to the extent of being thrown out of the house they are staying in. My 2 brothers are stranded at home with no money to go to college. At times its so hard for them that they cannot afford 3meals a day & other necessities. The list is endless, I could go on and on etc.

I would love to help my parents but at the moment my crisis is worse. My husbands business has taken a plunge, at times he comes home frusrated with nothing in his pocket. I am a Government employee and earn $75 per month but at the moment my salary is withheld at the bank to cover an overdraft($375) caused by a bounced cheque I was given which was accidentally cashed in by the bank. So in short I am not receiving any salary until the overdraft is cleared.

At times I cannot make it to the office for lack of money for transport and have to make flimsy excuses for my absence. My unpaid bills have pilled up and I am unable to assist my parents too.

I have fasted (even in my condition- being 6mnths pregnant) and prayed. I need p'ple to uplift me in prayer and encouragement because at times I feel like giving up, but I try to hold on. Please I am getting desperate and need everyone of you to lift me up in prayers.

Oh, honey~this sounds so terribly difficult for you and your family. Please know our hearts go out to you. I don't know if you have read The Prayer of Jabez; but, I would strongly recommend it. If you want to private message me with your address, I will send it to you.

My prayer for you today is this: Dearest Father God, Chiri has come to us asking that we stand with her, asking only for that which is due. You are our Father. You are our Provider. You have promised that we would never see the righteous forsaken or their seed begging bread; and, we are the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. You have told us not to worry about what to eat or what to wear. You have told us that You know we need a roof over our heads and that the birds of the air and the flowers of the fields are all taken care of by You and they are much lower than we. You have told us to ask and we would receive. And, so we ask. We ask for Chiri's needs to be met; for their business to turn around and to begin to flourish. We ask that You look with compassion on her as she struggles in behalf of her parents and brothers; and, that You open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessings on this family. Meet their every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus and according to Your Word and Your promise. Show Yourself Loving and mighty in their behalf, Lord. We look to You for deliverance and Provision; for You, O God are our maker. You are responsible for our well-being. And, You are kind and gracious, abundant in mercy to the righteous and unrighteous alike. We ask all of this in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, thanking You in advance for what we know and expect You will do. We put our hope in You for Trustworthy is our God!

My heart goes out to you and family. I pray that God’s blessings will be up on you and those you love. I pray for a hedge of protection around you and your family. Chiri know that God is with you. He hears your every prayer and knows your heart. Remember God’s promises and listen to His word. (Isaiah 41:10) So do not fear, for I am with you; do not look about anxiously, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
I know that it seems that life is overwhelming and that there is no help in sight. But God is with you, right now, right beside you. You, Chiri, are God’s child and with that come all the rights of your inheritance when you chose Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. This life is hard and unfair. But the One that loves you the most is The One who gave the most for you and me and all those who love Him. Do not let the enemy get you down. Remain firm in prayer and in His word. Suit up with the Armor of God. (Ephesians 6:13-17) Truth, shall be your Sturdy Belt God’ Righteousness, shall be your Body Armor. The Good News shall be your Peace, Faith, shall be your Shield, Salvation, shall be your Helmet, The Spirit, which is the Word of God, shall be your Sword.
Rely and trust in Him in all things. We have His promise to care for us and He is faithful and true to His word.

I am praying that you, your husband, your baby, and your parents may prosper and be in health. 3 John 2 " Brethern, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers." Your soul will prosper when you feed it daily of the nourishing word of God. I pray that your husband and family get jobs soon and that God will show you the way out of debt. Matthew 6 tells us to seek FIRST the kingdom of God and his righteousness, then all these things that you have need of will be given to you by God for he knows our needs and is your source of all that you have that is good. Do you have your health? Praise him for that and trust him and his promises. I pray for you to be encouraged and lifted up. May his peace and love fill your minds and hearts and the joy of the Lord be your strength.
