Hi Everyone,

I was in my office reading the prayer and the challenge that Lori posted and just as I was about to read a few of the responses, someone came in to see me. She looked around the office and said, "I like your computer. You have everything you need right here in this office." I immediately started talking (without thinking) and I said, "No I" and that was it. The Lord stopped me right in my tracks. You see I was focused on the material things and the Lord reminded me that I do indeed have everything I need right here in my office.

Oh what a joy for the Lord to send an unexpected guest by (she was supposed to drop off the papers yesterday)to remind me that I have everything I need because I have Jesus. I am so overwhelmed with joy right now because I truly love that the Lord loves us so much that he will use anybody at anytime to simply remind us of this when we need to be reminded of it the most.

Enjoy the rest of your day and just remember, you too already have everything you need.

His grace is suffecient for us. I pray that we remember all our blessings to give Him thanks, praise and honor and to even thank Him when things don't presently "look" good to us. Remember He is directing our steps and completing the good work that He has begun in us till the day of Christ.

Thank you for this reminder, Praise Him. We do have all we need. He is able and willing to grant us strength and resources to do His will. Lord, please help me to rest in Your sufficiency!

Hi Family,

God is so amazing because He knew that I would encounter a weekend that force me to recognize that He really is all that I need.

I am experiencing a setback in my quest to let go and let God handle things in my life right now. Satan is really trying to get the best of me and I have come to realize this because everytime I feel like I am at a breakthrough point negative thoughts or negative people invade my space.

I thank God for my ability to recognize this and get myself geared up for battle by putting on the full amour of Christ. Satan will not defeat me this time. I am going to stand still and wait on the Lord.

Please pray for my strength and for Guidance, Direction and Wisdom (GDM - God's Daily Word)for my life today.

Hang in there! You ARE getting through this and you ARE growing in your faith. I am excited by the fact that you said that have the ability to recognize when things are coming against you. That is a demonstration of spiritual maturity. Further, knowing what and how to handle it also dispalys this.

I am learning in walk that setbacks aren't always a negative thing. Instead they can be opportunities to realize that there is something in my life that God wants me to address so that I can move higher with Him. That is what I hear you saying too!!!

Remember, you are not alone in this. Christ promises to be with you every step of the way, today, tommorrow, forever! Amen. Plus you have brothers and sister who love you and are there on the sidelines rooting for you and cheering you on!!!

Keep up the great work and fighting the fight of faith. You are doing a remarkable job!

This has been an up and down week for me. I thank you for your prayers and I am asking that you continue to lift me up.

I am even more convinced that satan is on my trail because the Lord has already promised me that things will truly work out for His good.

Thanks for sharing your heart. As I read your post I got a picture of someone riding a roller coaster. We are all excited as we go up, up, up the hill, excited and full of anticipation about what is going to occur. Then we get to the top and start plummeting downward. Some, close there eyes, scream, and hang on for dear life. Others, while still uncertain, choose to keep there eyes open, lift there hands ups and yell joyfully as they go down. Neither group knows what is coming to them around the next corner, but one group is in fear while the other operates in faith. It sounds like you chose to operate in faith this week. That is encouraging to me. Keep sharing and testifying to the awesome power of God in your life. You are building all of our faith when you do. I appreciate you!!!

John, Grace&Faith and Howard,

Thanks so much for your prayers and Howard thanks for the wonderful analogy. It's amazing to me because before I signed on this morning the Holy Spirit revealed something to me in the form of an analogy and I am now compelled to share it with you.

Over the past few months I have been speaking of this breakthrough and yet I get so close to it but I can't just grab on to it. I realize that I am the reason why I am not receiving the "prize". I keep trying to help God be God. In other words, He shows me and tells me something and then I try to make it happen.

It's like seeing a ship coming in and instead of standing on the shore cheering it on in, I jump into the deep water (without a life jacket) and I try to go in and bring in the ship myself by not allowing the captain to do his job.

I am so glad that God is a forgiving God because I have already confessed my sins and my shortcomings to Him and asked to forgive me for trying to do His job. He is my captain and I have to let Him bring the ship in.

Please pray that I will sit back and relax and allow the Lord to make things happen. He does not need my help and I need to remember this in my daily walk with Him.
