Hallo everybody - Praise Him Big. Could somebody out there give me a reference on how to deal with depression with a christian point of view. Added Bible references or christian websites, will help me a great deal.

I do not have anything biblical other than reading the book of Pslams. It seems that David went throught just about every single emotion we can think of. He also was very honest with the LORD about his feelings.

Depress can be a lot to deal with, but resting in the LORD and depending on the LORD has to be the only way.

Dear Lord, I am suffering from depression and others are dealing with anxiety disorder. Thank you for giving me the medical attention that has helped place my soul back into my skin. Give all of us who suffer this stress the courage and strength to trust you and allow the Holy Spirit to guide us. You love and through your love all things are possible. In Jesus name we praise you. Amen

I just want you to know that I understand you completely! I have been diognosed with depression about 2 months ago. Well a friend of mine made a comment to me that changed me. She said "I do not understand how a christian can have panic attacks and be depressed!" Well we figured that I was NOT putting all my trust in God, I was not trusting Him at all! Well I went home that night and prayed for His help to keep all my trust in Him! In Proverbs 3:5,6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Sometimes it is so hard to trust anyone, even God! But He is the only one who knows the right answer. Keep praying and He will show you the answer.

Dear Lord,
Please show him that you love him and that he is not alone. When there is nobody there to give a hug, you are right there filling that emptiness. Help him to keep ALL his trust in you and not to become frusterated when you are working on someone else at that moment but you are working on his answer! Lord thank you for all the wonderful things in life we sometimes take for granted. Bless him in the most wonderful ways and heal the pain he is suffering.
