For some years now,it seems that any relationship i enter terminates at the very edge of serious commitment of marriage.This particular r/ship i pray must work out cos' i cant afford to lose him.NO, pls pray for me earnestly.My heart is broken.....

God knows your desires and wants nothing more than to give you all you need. Rest in Him and seek Him with your full heart and He will see that your needs are meet and that your heart has peace. Of course this is a daily challenge for all Christians and something we strive for daily but never fully obtain. However, even though we can not fully obtain complete peace, we are thankful that God gives us the peace that He does. I could not imagine life with out Him carrying my burdens. I will pray for you during this time. Continue to seek Him out through prayer, reading your Bible, and obeying Him in the areas where you know His desire for you life.

28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Maybe God prevents you from getting married to spare you the pain of a divorce, I am not sure, but God treats me like that sometimes - He will not give me what I want because it is bad for me & every once in a while He does give me what I want (that He does not want for me) just to show me why I wanted the wrong thing. I feel that you should be in constant prayer that God sends you the right one, one that will last a lifetime & be there for you through thick & thin. In this age of instant gratification (fast food - microwave ovens - instant coffe - live sattelite news coverage) we are so pamperd that we don't want to wait for things; but God's timing is not always overnight - so I encourage you to hold on & to make sure that the one you marry is the right one - this may save you from problems like infidelity in the future.

I will pray for you that God sends you the right partner (& soon) & you pray for me too because I am looking for the same thing.

Oh yea remember that passage that says "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, & all these (other) things will be added unto you" When God is in the center & most prominent seat in our universe; all our needs are met in a timely basis (if not the timing you want then at least it will be right on time or the timing you need).

Relationships are very important and especially the one with whom we choose to spend a lifetime. I am sorry you have had your heart broken time and time again. My best advice would be to pray and seek a close relationship with the Father, because He knows what is best for you and you can trust Him to provide for you best. He is more than any earthly husband could be to us and at the appropriate time He can provide that as well. Settle upon this -- when the Lord is in your relationship, you will both know it. So pray the Lord will reveal to you both His will. I pray the ache in your heart and your tears will soon fade.
