Friends, you have prayed for my older son a few times and God has answered some of the prayers. He has had a fear of doctors and of getting a second biopsy and c-t scans, ect. They didn't get enough tissue in the first biopsy to know if he has a lympthoma type cancer. For awhile, he refused to go to the docs and get the biopsy asnd tests but now he has set a date, Oct 4 to get them done. Please pray for his surgery, healing and that this will propel him to seek the Lord and trust him. He heard on a news show that doctors overuse the c-t scans and the radiation from them actually causes cancer. He's had some and will need more.

The doctor said that the lympth glands swelling has not increased or spread over these few months and he didn't think it was cancer, PRAISE GOD!
Pray that he will come to Christ through all this that his marriage will be restored.

Also his baby is due next month and the baby's head is large. Dr said not to be overly concerned about that, but the parents are scared.

Dear Sweet Grace&faith, Bless his heart. It is hard to face the thing that threatens us. Believe me, I know. But, I heard a sermon once by Lester Sumrall. He said that when he is afraid; and, danger is standing behind a closed door. He would not allow it to intimidate him; rather he kicked the door in. I have learned that the quicker we learn the truth, the sooner we have peace. The unknown can hold us in bondage because Satan can create imaginations that are far greater than what is actually the case.

This is not something we know naturally, I don't think. It is something, as you know, that we learn through experience. I think sometimes, our children need to be walked through the logic behind their actions, so they can overcome the things that hold them in bondage.

My prayer for your son is this: Gracious Father, You know Grace&faith's love for her son. You know his heart and the things that cause him to be afraid. You know the lies that the enemy has told him; and, You hold the Truth that can set him free. Father, please speak to his heart and allow him to place his trust in You. Go before him and prepare the way with the doctors. Grant that this threat will prove to be void of power. Grant that the true cause of his physical symptoms will be discovered and be treatable. And, Lord, we ask for favor in his life. Grant a miracle in his marriage. Grant a healthy birth of his child. Grant that he may be blessed abundantly and that he may begin to see that You do indeed act in behalf of those who put their trust in You. We ask this, Father, expecting that You will hear us and immediately respond to our petitions. We know that You do not delay or withhold good from those to whom it is due. We know that Your Promises are Yes in Christ Jesus, and so we add our AMEN. Grant that Salvation will come to this family so that we all may rejoice together as we revel in Your goodness to us and to our dear sister and her precious son. Blessed be the Lord God Almighty Who does all things well. Trustworthy is our God!

Dear Wonderful Holy Father,
You know exactly the need of your sons life. You know that he is calling out to you, he may be scared, He may be afraid, but Lord we ask that you take that fear away. Bring his mind comfort and peace. Restore to him your grace and mercy. We bleed the blood over his body, his surgery, his mind, his heart, his marriage. We thank you for a speedy recovery in advance. We know that you are the ultimate doctor - you are the best that there will ever be, we thank you for being with your son on Oct.4th in the operating room.

We asked that you guide each doctor to perform everything in your perfect will within his body. We praise you for that you are doing in this family. We believe and receive your loving kindness. In Jesus name, AMEN!

Your sister in christ, forevermore,
Nicole (NB) XOXOXO

Grace -

As I read your post the scripture (paraphrased) "Fear thou not. For I am with you. Be not dismayed for I am your God. I will stregthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness." came up in my spirit.

Fear is not of God as you know, but God is a God love, peace, joy and quiet rest. You all are in the storms of life right now. I enjoy you to be like Peter who called out to Jesus when he saw Him walking on the water. Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, if it is You, call me out to You." Jesus told Peter, "Come." That is what Jesus is calling you all and especially your son to do. To "Come." to Him. To verture out, to trust Him for what seems to be the impossible. But the funny thing is, is that it isn't impossible to walk on water because not only did Jesus do it, but so did Peter. we forget this common man experienced the "impossible" because He was obiedient to Christ's call. I encourage you all not to take your eyes off of Jesus.

Do not look back, do not look to the sides, simply look straight ahead into the eyes of love. Love conquers all Grace. That is what scripture says. And potentially bad reports are included in all, cancer is included in all, baby's enlarged heads are included in all.

Jesus loves you, your son, your son's baby. God is love. Perfect love casts out all fear.

Embrace His love for you. Be still and know that He is God. He will deliver you from it all dear one. Simply trust.

I love you guys! Christ is there with you. He is.

G&F,
Ok- I just want you to know that "Try" was never in Jesus mouth when he was at Calvary. He did not look up and say..."I'll Try Father to understand or I'll "try" to get over this pain." He merely believed that God loved the world so much that he gave his son. He knew that he was the sacrifice. What I am saying G&F, is that you are God's anointed child. The situation may seem bleek, your mind may be weak right not but your faith in Christ is what will get you through. Trust and believe every promise that God has said. He will not forsake you or your son.Your son's health will be a glorious testimony. God is the ultimate healer, doctor, father, and confidant. You have the victory!

I will stand in agreement with you but again, know that you have a family here that supports you and loves you Smile

Your sister in Christ,

Soteria,NB nicole, and Tanya and to the rest of you
My son goes to an appointment tomorrow, (22nd Oct)
The baby was born HEALTHY with no complications, PRAISE GOD! He is very pretty and he's contented, he rarely cries, just whimpers a little when he is annoyed. NB...I think you are right about the word TRY. Psalm 145:18-19 tells me....The Lord is near those who call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him, he will hear their cry and save them.

Howard,
The scripture you gave me helped me to not be so fearful. I like to think I fully trust the Lord but sometimes I get worried anyway. I know that he is my strength and hope and his word is true and it is for me.

Praise be to God for this healthy baby. May God's blessing be upon him throughout all of his life. May he know and understand the high calling of God upon him. May he be blessed in everything he sets his hand to. May he bring peace and restoration to many. May he be the joy of his daddy's life and may his life result in praise and glory and honor flowing up to our Father in heaven.

Your son is in our thoughts and prayers, Grace&faith. My prayer for him is this tonight: Father God, this is the day that Grace&faith's son is to go to the doctor. Grant that he may have the courage to go. Grant that he will receive a good report and that he will know without a doubt that he has nothing to fear. Speak to his heart Father, and tell him that he is in Your Hands. Grant that he may recognize Your love for him and your faithfulness to take care of his every need. Grant that he may fall so in love with his new son that he stands in awe of You as he realizes the miracle of life. Grant Grace&faith much joy, Father, for you have promised us that joy cometh in the morning and that we will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Reward her for her faithfulness to bring her son before Your throne in prayer and intercession. And, we will rejoice with her and the angels when Your glory is revealed in her family. Trustworthy is our God!

Thank you for your words of encouragement and prayer. They are a great source of comfort and so is all the other's prayers.

Praise God! My son went to the DR and the doc said that the inflamation hasn't grown or spread any so he left it up to him to decide about weather he will get the biopsy or not. He said that if it had grown or spread he would have been alarmed. He wants him to come in for another c-t scan in a year.
