Family,
I come you all asking for prayers for my wife Susie. As some of you know she and my son, Daniel has had Lyme disease for the last four to five years. Susie has been in a state of depression for the last few weeks. She is not feeling well and now she is not doing very well. I know for her, that just the day to day tasks are hard for her. I also know that not being able to help and do normal things makes it worst and drives her further down. Daniel, our oldest, turned 18 on Monday. This depressed her more because he has not been able to attend school or be social for the last five years. He is a fine young man and has a strong faithful relationship with our Lord Jesus. I know that she wants more for him and that she would like to see him, out with friends and making plans for the future. But at this time he has none, he is unable to do any activities, either educational of social, because of his illness. Now that school has started again, she is unable to participate in the school activities with our other children. This too has not helped. There are a lot of things right now that are reminding her of things she has missed in the past and things that she will not be able to participate in the future.
I have been praying for her and my family daily and I do my best to serve them. I have asked the Lord for years now to heal them. I have Faith and I know that He will, because He is Faithful and true to His Word. I ask that you all lift up Susie and Daniel in prayers of healing and restoration. I ask that you also lift up and cover my other son and daughter in prayer. And I have one more request that you lift me up also, I am feeling overwhelmed. I need HIS strength, comfort and guidance.
Your Brother in Christ,
Brian

I feel your heaviness and frustration. I will be praying for Suzie and Daniel's miracles of healing and a special strength and comfort for all of you. It is wonderful that Daniel is serving God at his young age. I pray that you would be strong in THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT Ephesians6 and would realize that he loves you and cares for you. The father asked Jesus to heal his son and Jesus said " if you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes " and the father cried" Lord I believe, help my unbelief. Mark 9 Jesus also said "all things are possible with God" Mark 10 I will agree with you for miracles. Hebrews 4..We do not have a high preist who cannot symphasize with our weakness, but was in all points tempted as we are yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."Cast thy burden on the Lord and he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved"Ps 55 2Corinthians 1:20"For all of the promises of God in him are yes and in him are amen to the glory of God through us"
Psalm 34 The Lord is near those who have a broken heart and saves such as have a contrite spirit.

I agree with you based on Matthew 18:19-20 if two of you agree on Earth concerning anything they ask, it will be done for them by my father in heaven. For where 2 or 3 are gathered in my name, I am there in the midst of them.

its been long since i have logged in, and it pains me to see children of God going through hard times, but this is not by choice, and God always has a reason for everything that happens, though sometimes the devil interferes in our lives, just like what he did to JOB.

and it is up to us to remain steadfast and faithfull, and never doubt his power. God loves your family, and you already have a relationship with him, and nothing can take that love away or seperate you from his love.

With your prayers God will strengthen you, and lift you. he will give you divine healing and spiritual uplifting for your family, he will work miracles, and one day you will tell the whole world the many things God did for you.

You will be in my prayers, for God said even if only two pray i will hear their prayers. and fear not for he has redeemed you, he has summoned you by name and your family is his.

May God bless you and strengthen you, and heal your wife and son, in the name of the Lord Jesus who died on the cross, for our sake.

may His peace be with you.

God bless

Brian,
I read your request the other day - I wanted to pray before I responded because my heart just reaches out to you and all that your family is going through. First, I have to say to you is the strength God has given you is incredible. The reason why I said that is, because in the midst of everything that Susie is going through, Brian you are faithful to Christ and being a good stewart.

There are alot of Christian men in this day an age who are good "talking the talk" but not "walking the walk". Have you given your situation to Christ? Have you lift up your hands and said "I need you"? God will supply all your needs and desires. He can do the impossible. I know that you intially sent this for prayer for your son and wife, yet you have to know that God is blessing you every moment of the day for your faithfulness and your love.

Secondly, Susie and Daniel will be blessed by your faithfulness. I will continue to pray for your family. God will not allow hurt, harm or danger to come against his children.

Father,
I come to you asking that you bless, heal, restore and renew Brian's family. Father God, the enemy has come to attack this family in every way - health, depression, sadness, lonliness, overwhelmed, social anxiety, etc..
Please give them strength. These things are not of you! The enemy comes to destroy the "Family"- but we bind the wicked forces up in Jesus name! You praise you for your authority, Father.

Brian is your faithful servant, he is crying out to you, for his family. Here is cry, Oh Lord. Shower down your restoration, your healing, your love, your grace, your mercy upon his family. Give them peace. Lord, we thank you because you have never forsaked us. We know that you will are faithful in Brian's time of need. Lord, this is his season! Rain down on them, Rain down.

We thank you, LORD, for your healing power over Susie and Daniel's life. We thank you for letting them become a family again. Place your hand upon them. Guide their every footstep. In all these things we ask, In Jesus name, AMEN!

Stay encourage. Please know that God loves you with all of his heart. No weapon for against you shall prosper. This is a season, this too shall pass! Your season of victory is here Brian. I thank God for you.

XOXOXo

Dear Brian, My heart goes out to you and your family. I want to join in agreement with you and our other faithful warriors in believing for your families total deliverance, healing and restoration. I also want to tell You that I am learning something from God that I believe has great importance to our deliverance. I believe that Praise offered up to God continually will break Satan's hold...that he cannot stay in the presence of Almighty God; and, that because our God inhabits the praises of His people, all evil must flee when praises rise up from our lips. I am sure you and your family have "tried" everything as your battle has been so long and difficult. But, please make this a matter of prayer as to it's truth. Some time back, one of our posts discussed "rejoicing" and I did a short study into the word rejoice and joy. It led me to praise and to the Joy of the Lord being our very strength. I have since been directed repeatedly by the Lord to praise when evil has raised its head in my home. Every time that I have obeyed, it has been turned away. My prayer for you and your precious family is this, Brian:

Father God, We come to You in the Name of Your Only Begotten Son, Jesus, the Anointed One, asking that You look upon this husband and father's prayer for his wife and children and that You hear his cry and answer his requests. He expresses his Faith in You, O God, and that he knows that You will hear and answer, because You are Faithful and true to Your Word. He asks that we all lift up Susie and Daniel in prayers of healing and restoration and that we also lift up and cover his other son and daughter in prayer. And Father, Brian asks that we lift him up as well, for he is feeling overwhelmed. He lays before You and us his need for YOUR strength, comfort and guidance.

And, so Precious Lord, we join with Brian in lifting up himself, his wife and children to You. They have been ravaged long enough by the enemy, Father, and we desire to stand in the gap for them. We call upon Your Name and ask that You show Yourself strong in their behalf. Send Your mighty angels to fight for them and to turn the enemy away. Grant them deliverance from every evil spirit that has attached itself to their bodies and their minds. SET THEM FREE!

We thank You for Your great love for them. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that is our redemption and purchased our salvation. We praise You for Your beauty and Your Truth and Your goodness in our behalf. We love Your Lord, and we thank You that You both hear and answer our cries, and that You will speedily come to our aid. Blessed be the Name of the Lord God Almighty! Trustworthy is our God!

The best is yet to be...

Brian -

How are you my brother? Know that you and your family are on my heart and petitions are being lifted to the Father on your behalf.

I didn't respond sooner because frankly, I needed to educate myself on Lyme's disease and the effects of it. It certainly surprised me just how devastating this disease can be.

It also helped me gain a better understanding of what you must be going through. I applaud your diligence, loving kindness and mercy toward your family. It takes a real man to stand up under all of this pressure.

Susie and Daniel will be healed my friend. They will be. God is true and He is faithful. He will see all of you through this.

I know that this isn't much, but I oversee my church's visitation ministry. If you think that it would bless Susie and Daniel, I would be pleased to forward your need to this group and we could provide a card shower for them to bless them and hopefully lift their spirits. If this is something that you'd desire, please send me a private message with your address and I will forward it to my team.

Brian, stand strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Remember brother that in our weakness He is strong. Know that you are not in this fight alone Brian. There are many here who love you and your family and fighting along side you.

I wanted to share this scripture with you. You may not think that it applies, but I think it does and will be an encouragement to you.

You see Brian, you are in a war and right now it looks like that enemy far outnumbers you. From that vantage point it sure can wear on you and easily get you into doubt, worry, and fear.
But God is calling you out, He is telling you Brian that He is with you. The priest who is calling you to attention (we are spiritual Israel) is Jesus our high priest. He too is giving you instructions and reassuring you that God is right there beside you fighting for you and fighting to win. You are an overcomer Brian. So is your family. God is right there with you and your family fighting with you against all of the principalities and powers that are coming against you. And here is the kicker Brian...."fighting to win". The victory is our the battle is the Lord's.

You are a soldier in the battle Brian. You are fighting for not only yourself but your family too. Sometimes soldiers get weary and wounded in the fight. That is why their are others in the battle to cover you when the battle gets too much. So you can be sheltered under the Father's wing and be ministered to. Strengthened and rejuvenated to go back out into the battle.

Keep fighting the good fight Brian. Keep loving the Lord and your family with all you are. God sees this my friend and He will honor it in you and your family's life.

Know too that we are here for you and love you very much. Let me know what I can do for you my friend.

Be blessed Brian.

Your brother,
Howard

Deu 20:1 - 4 "When you go to war against your enemy and see horses and chariots and soldiers far outnumbering you, do not recoil in fear of them; GOD, your God, who brought you up out of Egypt is with you. When the battle is about to begin, let the priest come forward and speak to the troops. He'll say, "Attention, Israel. In a few minutes you're going to do battle with your enemies. Don't waver in resolve. Don't fear. Don't hesitate. Don't panic. GOD, your God, is right there with you, fighting with you against your enemies, fighting to win."

Good Afternoon Howard!
First thank you so much for your encouragement and prayers. They are needed. I stand with you in that this a spiritual battle. We have been at this a long time. But I will confess that it has been a blessing. Because of this illness, all of my family has been drawn closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Because of this illness I have learned to rely on His strength and not on mine. I have learned to follow His leadership. I have given more over to Him than I thought was possible. I have also learned that in spite of all the pain, tears and suffering that He is right there, right by us. He is shaping us in to His likeness. We are being tested, stretched and refined. Just like the silversmith, when asked, "How do you know when the fire has removed all the impurities from the silver? And he reply's, "When I can see my image in it." That is what Christ does for us. He is shaping us in to His likeness. Yes, it has been hard and the battle is long and far from over, but the rewards are great!
God will heal and restore Susie and Daniel. I trust Him with everything and in everything.

Your Brother in Christ,
Brian

Brian -

If you ever feel down or discouraged, you need to reread your last post. What an awesome testimony and word of encouragement to yourself and others.

This may sound crazy, but you should share this with your family too. What a blessing it will be to them to know that your faith is so incredibly strong and that you totally rely on our heavenly Father for it all.

I am touched by your words Brian and they are a tremendous encouragement and speak life into my life. Thank you for sharing them.

Keep fighting the good fight Brian. You bless me.

Your brother,
Howard
