Please pray for Joel who was in hospital together with Simone. He is one of twin born preterm. His twin Joshua is well and was discharged over 2 months ago. Unfortunately Joel has a number of complications because the umbilical cord was around his neck at the time of birth. As a result doctors have said he may never walk. Aside from that he has been unable to suck and swallow since birth and was referred for an operation to put a feeding tube through his stomach for him to feed so he can go home. The operation took place on Tuesday and Joel's mom called to say the op had been successful. However, she called me again this morning to say he is in critical condition. Apparently, yesterday she found his milkfeed gushing out of the stomach and so he has had to have another operation as there was a hole in his stomach. He is now on a ventilator and been put in a semi- coma for the next 3 days. Please pray as the next 48 hrs are critical.
