Good morning.

I would first like to ask for prayers for the Baswell family. Dean was taken home by the Lord on April 25 after an eight month battle with lung cancer. He was a non-smoking, christian man. Please pray that the Lord will hold Lynne and Bethany in his hands during this time.

Also, I need to find some scripture to help a friend. She has a friend who has been in an abusive relationship. This friend finally filed for divorce. When she told the husband he went nuts. He tied her hands and placed a gun in her hand and pulled the trigger shotting himself. He is now in intensive care. My friend is having a hard time praying for him. I told her she needs to pray for the Lord to help her understand what she can do to help her friend and to reveal what they are to learn from this ordeal. I told her that the Lord does everything for a reason and we have to trust Him to get us through it. Anyone know of some scripture I can share with her to help her. Thank you very much. Lexi Olivia

Lexi,

Heavenly Father, We come to you with the Baswell family knowing you have received Dean in your kingdom in glory. May the rest of the family be restored while they mourn in silence. Dean is now in Heaven with a new body, no suffering, no problems. Glory to God!

Dear Lord, may you intercede in the behalf of Lexi's friend, may your mercy and grace open their hearts for healing. May your dwelling spirit calm the storms at bay.

I pray these scriptures help.

Psalm 119:67-68 67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I obey your word.
68 You are good, and what you do is good;
teach me your decrees.

Psalm 119:71-72 71 It was good for me to be afflicted
so that I might learn your decrees.
72 The law from your mouth is more precious to me
than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.

Psalm- 119: 75-76 75 I know, O LORD , that your laws are righteous, and in faithfulness you have afflicted me.
76 May your unfailing love be my comfort,
according to your promise to your servant.

We cannot always comprehend God's ways, as he, in his wisdom, carries out His plan. Romans: 11:33-36 33Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments and his paths beyond tracing out! 34"Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?" 35"Who has ever given to God,that God should repay him?" 36For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.

After Paul suffered in many ways, he did not lose heart. God kept strengthening him day by day, and looked forward to his eternal reward. 2 Corithians 4:16-18 16Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

God hears and answers prayer; he is near to his children. Ps. 34:17-18 17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. 18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

God is also the source of all comfort. 2 Cor. 1:3-7 3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. 6If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. 7And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort.

If God is for us, nothing can separate us from his love. Romans 8:38-39 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

May pray is for the Lord to heal your friend and Husband and may he except the Lord Jesus in his heart. I pray the Lord intercedes in their lives bringing them salvation and direction in their life!!!!!!!!

22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

Hi Lexi,

Peace be with you and these two families at this time. Heavenly Father, we don't know the whys to life at times, we know you do and we know at those times you carry us through. You quieten the storms and make everything alright when things come that grieve us, perplex us. Please keep the Baswell family in your love and we call on your protection for them. May you enfold your wings around this family and keep them with and in you forever. Death will never seperate us for the Love we have in you and with you for you and our loved ones bathe Dean Lynn and Bethany with your beautiful love in Jesus' name, amen.

We call upon you also to be with this relationship that has taken on violence and let it enter them. In Jesus' name, we ask now dear Lord that you call out that violent spirit and bathe this woman and man in your blood, in your protection and set them free from all evil. We ask that you guide them through this process. This man is in intensive care, we ask that you watch over him and speak to him as he needs you to speak to him. Free him now from violence as he lies, transform him in your love as he rests, may he rest in you. Please Dear Lord turn this all around in Jesus' name, for you glory. Please also be with the Lady that has been abused, please let her know there is no abuse in your love, that you can be trusted above all else that she can rest and trust in you, in Jesus' name. May peace be with these two families at this time and may they all find their way to your rest, in Jesus' name, amen.

I pray for Dean Baswell's family for comfort and strength and peace. Thank God, they have the blessed hope of seeing him again.

I will pray for your friend to get wisdom from God who gives it liberally to t hose who ask Him and that He will annoint her to witness and minister as God leads to her friend and that God send others to both of them to witness to them for salvation. Her husband needs the Lord too. Her friend could use Proverb 1:33 "Whoever listens to me will dwell safely and be secure without fear of evil." Or Proverbs 32:10

'Many sorrows shall be to the wicked, but he who trusts the Lord, mercy shall surround him."

Mark 9:23 "Jesus said to him," if you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."

Psalm 34: 9-10 "The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him and delivers them."

Mark 11:25 "Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses."

Father, I pray for every single person involved in both situations here. I ask that you comfort those for the lost of the Baswell's. I ask that he was on of your severants and that he is gone home ot be with you enjoying the streets of Gold. Lord we know that this is not our home, but sometimes it can be hard for our love ones to understand, but we stand on your word and we thank you.

Father i pray for the other family i ask that you would save this husband from Satan. I ask that you would humble his heart and the heart of the wife. I ask that if children are involve that you would bless them in a mighty way. Father i thank you for the power of prayer and healing. Amen

Luke 2:49b Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?
