I have a dear friend, Sydney, who is a recently returned believer. She has 6 major back problems (ie:herniated disks, cracked vertabrae, exposed nerves, etc.) which keep her practically bed-ridden. We went to the Dr. on 4-30-08. He was rude, insensitive, demeaning of her as a person and told her there was no hope for her medically and to "buck up" and get on with her life in spite of the pain. I was present at this meeting. She is so discouraged and humiliated by this incident. She is questioning God's love for her. She wants to know what she did that was so wrong that she has to suffer so much for so long. I'm out of answers. Please lift her up. Please pray for God to help me be His instrument into her life.
