Please pray for and with me as I pray for my church, Waters in Baltimore, MD. God is calling us to take a stand in our neighborhood. The area is drug infested and poverty stricken. The residents are less than hopeful about their situations. Please pray that God will direct us in winning souls to Him. Please pray that we will be reflection of His love so that men, women, and children will be saved -- that their lives will be changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.

This sounds like a big battle that you and your church are undertaking. It sounds like a much needed battle to fight as well. I will pray that God leads you and your church as they minister to the neighborhood. No matter how many souls you see won for Christ, He will be pleased with your obedience to serve Him. I stand with you in prayer.

Terry, I have forwarded your email on to a young couple who will be moving to Baltimore in the next month or so. Is the name of the church "Waters"? If you want to post the address info, I will send it on to them as well.

I am encouraged that your people are concerned about the inner-city. It has seemed for some time here that the trend was toward getting to the suburbs where the money is and the opportunities for cool performance and technology abounds. But, the souls of the people in the inner-city are hungry for deliverance; and, they need to experience God's love on a daily basis from his people. My prayer for you is this:

Gracious Father, We believe that You care deeply for the poor in body and spirit. That Your heart breaks at the condition of the people living in the despair of the inner-city. We believe that it is our duty to reach out to them; and, to offer them Jesus. Many times, we are afraid, Lord. Many times, we fail to act because we know the task seems greater than what we will be able to handle or to sustain. But, You O Lord, are greater than any mountain or obstacle that we can face. You will not fail to provide both strength and resources if we but answer the call. So, we ask You to annoint Terry and his team to be able to work with supernatural power and authority among their neighborhood and surrounding areas. Lord God, prepare the hearts of the residents. Grant them courage to take a stand together. Remind them of the things that can be accomplished in unity. Grant that many souls may come into the Kingdom as a result of this faithful response to Your directive. Minister healing, and hope through Your mighty and precious Holy Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ! And, we will rejoice together with Terry and Your Church as we stand behind them undergirding them with prayer. May this effort result in praise and glory and honor rising up to You and to Your Son, Jesus, in whose Mighty Name we pray! Trustworthy is our God!

Praise God for your church. I pray that God's annointing be upon you and the rest of the members and leaders and for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon your area. Jesus is the only solution for drugs and other addictions, not politics. I pray for God's hand to lead you and give you strength and encouragement.

I am standing in agreement with everyone else regarding your ministry. Most Gracious and Holy Father, we thank you for a place to go fellowship with other believers. But most importantly we thank you that you gave your son up on the cross for our sins. I stand in agreement with the other praying disciples and regarding your ministry. May God send his dwelling spirit the manifest in the inner city. I will also look into the different ministrys that helps with the people that are in bondage, homeless and addictions. This is one in our town and I will call them to see in they have any live in ministries in that area.
