My husband, of over 20 years, and I have lived separately for most of a year now. He had an affair and contracted a STD. He is no longer having an affair and says he loves me. We talk on the phone often, but he is not able to re-commit to the relationship for fear of giving me the STD. I have forgiven him and believe we can work pass this. I told him that I can't go on like this, living separately and not working toward fixing our marriage. I very much want to save our marriage. He and I are both Christians.
