All,
I received the following prayer request via E-mail and Willie wanted me to post it on this board ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Please pray for my son Curtis. He loves the Lord and as a son man (22 yrs. old), he lives a holiness. Recently, I had to do the most difficult thing in my life. About one year ago he was in a severe spiritual warfare and jump from a five story building. God saved him and he only had three clean breaks(arm, wrist, ankle). No scratches or chip teeth. What is more, most of the safety persons assigned to his room were Christians, who prayed for him around the clock. But he is suffering another mental attack and I had to have him baker act to get the help he needed. It's only the second day of a three day screening and my heart is breaking for him. Please pray earnestly for him that God will restore his mind and soul. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Update: He was discharged from the Mental facility after three days and was not given any help. Now he wants nothing to do with my husband and I because he thinks we betrayed him. And he has no where else to go. This is one of the most difficult situations I have ever been faced with. Yes, please post his name for prayer. Pray that God heals his mind. God Bless Willie, ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Father, please be with Curtis tonight and with his mom and daddy. Lord, we know how difficult it is to see our children heading down a path that can lead to their harm. We are compelled to intervene lest Satan would have his way, and destroy their life. We know also that You alone are God. We know that You are greater than anyone, or anything in this Universe. We know that You have the Victory and that we also have the Victory through Christ Jesus our Lord. We thank You that You guard and keep that which we commit to You for You are faithful and trustworthy. Tonight, Lord, we join with Willie to commit Curtis to Your loving care. We ask that You cover him with Your protective wing, and that the blood of Jesus Redeem his life, and grant him freedom from all sin. Hide him safely in the shelter of Your arm, Lord. We thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fear; but, rather a Spirit of power and love and a sound mind. Father, we claim this beautiful mind for Curtis tonight; we ask that You act upon Your mighty Word and restore him to his senses. You are our hope. We stand upon Your promises knowing that therein lies our deliverance. Bless him, keep him safe, and allow Willie and her husband to place him in Your care and to expect and trust that You will guard and keep his life and his mind safe from all harm. Bless Curtis with Your everlasting life, Lord. Bless him with every good and perfect thing according to Your Word. And, we will give You all the praise and glory and honour in Jesus Most Holy Name! Trustworthy is our God!!!
The best is yet to be... |

Father God we come asking for restoration of your child Curtis and his parents. Father we command in the name of Jesus Christ that this evil spirit be bound and we command that leave Curtis. Lord we ask that this tormenting stop. We ask that Your Love and Grace be poured upon them. Lord we ask that you restore this family. We ask that You be the center of them, that they will seek You for all things. Lord grant them peace and understanding. Let the forgiveness began this hour. Let the restoration began through You Lord. Amen.
Willie, we will keep you all in prayer. Your Brother in Christ, Brian |

Father God,
We lift up Curtis to you Lord asking for a sound mind and a healed heart. We know you have the powers to set Curtis free from all trails, illness and burdens. Please hear are request as we pray in faith for your word and promise in healing. Thank you Lord in advance for allowing us to call on your name! I stand in agreement with all the praying disciples. 22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Received an E-mail from Laurette
------------------------------------------------------------------ At 06:25 AM 9/9/2004, you wrote: Hi Shawn, I eagerly waited until our electric was restored after hurricane Frances. I wanted to email you and thank you and all the sisters and brothers that joined in prayer with my husband Willie and I on the behalf of our son, Curtis. Immediately after you all prayed with us, God restored Curtis' mind. He is his old self again. Praise God! For His faithfulness. Thank all of you soooo very much for your fervent prayers.
