Hi, I am at a turning point in my life. My biz is not doing too well, my wife is pregnant with our first child and I am a foreigner in this land. I have applied for many jobs and believe it or not, not one has called me in for an interview. I feel logically desperate BUT a certain Godly Peace overwhelms me yet I know I should be hitting the panic button. Over the last 2 years He has taught me to depend and trust His providence evidently providing when I could not see any way through. I have prayed and believe for a Miracle. What should I do? I should be enjoying the miracle of our first child BUT the worries of tomorrow prevent true joy. I know I shld trust Him s it is written. How should I hadle this situation. Pse pray with me. I am 100% confident og corporaye prayer. I want a job.

Holy and awesome father, we come to you right now with full confidence that you have this family in the palm of your hands. Master Mr. Bamfite spoke about the peace that overwhelms him and you said in your word we would have to peace that passes all understanding. Lord we thank you right now for your precious gift that is on the way. I ask that he is able to enjoy this precious moments/gift from above.

Lord I ask that you provide employment immediately, because we know you would not bless this family with a child and not a way to provide for it. Master I ask that you intervene as we pray. I ask that you cover him with you love and your spirit. I ask that he know he can do all things through Christ because only you give us strength.

I ask that he has so many interviews/job offers that he does not know which one to choose. Lord you are the author and the finisher of our faith and we thank you. Lord we are thanking you in advance for Mr. Bamfite's new job. Lord we are thanking you in advance for Mr/Mrs. Bamfite's new baby. Lord we are just thanking you for salvation and deliverance from our fears. Only you can do these things and we thank you right now. We give you all the honor and glory Amen.

Congraduations on the baby to be born. I am praying for you to have continued peace and assurance from God, who alone is our source for everything. Jesus said to seek you FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things would be added to you ( those things you need ). Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about it's own things. Suffecient for the day is it's own trouble. ( Matthew 6:33-34 ) He already knows what you need. Read John 16:33-34..."These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
Check this out....Philippians 4:6-7 " Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Here are a few verses about finances....Proverbs8:20-21 "I traverse the way of righteousness in the midst of the paths of justice that I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth, that I may fill their treasuries.

Proverbs 22:4 "By humility and fear of the Lord ( reverence) are riches, honor and life."

Proverbs 28:27 "He who gives to the poor will not lack, but he who hides his eyes will have many curses."

Deuteronomry 8:18 "You shall remember the Lord Your God for it is He who gives you the power to get wealth.

There are many more scriptures you could meditate on and pray like Psalm 34 that will stimulate your faith and encourage you. I suggest that you get into a bible teaching church. Besides helping you to learn, worship and grow, you will make many new friends and some who may know where you can find work, and those who could agree in prayer with you. May the Lord provide all your needs.

Erdard,

Congrats! Congrats! Congrats on the beautiful gift that the Lord has given you and your wife. The beginning of a new family is wonderful. This is a time to celebrate- I will celebrate with you. I also want to encourage you Erdard. I too am looking for new employment, not for the reasons that you are but here are a few scriptures:

1 Samuel 12:16
"Now then, stand still and see this great thing the LORD is about to do before your eyes!"

Joshua 10:12
On the day the LORD gave the Amorites over to Israel, Joshua said to the LORD in the presence of Israel: "O sun, stand still over Gibeon, O moon, over the Valley of Aijalon."

Psalm 37:7
Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.

Zechariah 2:13
Be still before the LORD , all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling."

My favorite is: Psalm 37:7
Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; - As I understand your position with a precious gift coming. God will not give you more than you can handle. As you are looking for new employment continue to pray over every resume that is sent out. Don't get discourage because if we his servants just "be still" before the lord - we will reap all the blessings and promises that he already said we had. We have to be patient. It may come today, tomorrow, but it will come. Remember everyday that you have the victory! You go out there an claim it! Submit your resume for every position and just allow God to move Smile

Father, I come to you thanking you for all that you are doing in Erdard's family. Thank you for the precious gift that you have give. I pray that his wife has a healthy and nonproblematic delivery of their child. Lord, we know the favour that you have over his life. Every resume that he submits has your anoiting on it but Lord, the one that is selected is the one that you have called him to be a blessing within that company. We thank you for your overflowing spirit. I thank you for allowing him to be honest and free with you and trusting you for your mercy and grace. In Jesus name, AMEN!

Tx Tanya, Grace&Faith and Nicole,

I appreciate the encouragement & tx for the congrats. I am printing out the verses you have given me and I will meditate upon them. I will stand in faith on them and believe Him to do Hs Work.

About the church issue, there is a small growing church (11 people at the moment) which I feel I am led to worship at and serve in, I am blessed at this church BUT my wife does not like it but she feels blessed by another big church. It is a point of contention. So you can imagine what happens before we goo to church.

Please pray with us about this as well.

Cheers,

Hossana

Master, I ask that this family is not divided on where they should fellowship because we know it is ONLY one of you. Master I ask that you place a spirit of agreement in both of there hearts and that we all realize it is not about us but about YOU. Father please order this family steps as they walk in unity. I ask that you direct this family to scriptures to meditate on so that they are standing on one accord.

Christ Jesus I ask that you bless this family with wisdom and everything else will be added to them. Because in your word you said by wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established. Psalm 24:3

Jesus we thank you right now Amen Amen Amen and a mighty AMEN

Hi,

Thanks for all the prayers, I know they will have effect.

Yesterday, my wife broke downand cried uncontrollaby. She feels aweful that it all look very bleak. It breaks my hurt to know that my best is not good enough and more that I do not know what step to take next.

Despite everything, I know God will come through. I will keep doing whatI do and being open to His prompting.

Thanks and God bless,

Erdard

Hello Erdard,

When a man cannot find a job, or is otherwise not doing something useful to put bread on his table, he feels useless and not content. It is my belief that God has instilled in man the duty to work, an internal importance to be "at work". Some guys, and we all know some of them, are just plain lazy and do not want to work. That is another matter entirely.

Erdard, I recommend that you ask the Lord to lead you to a job, any job. Start something new, if necessary, and this may mean that you are led to a job that may be far below your level of education or ability. Begin work at something, though, where your Godly talents (including just plain hard work) will be put to use. Yes, even washing dishes or cleaning work should be considered. So often, men refuse to consider the lower levels of employment as demeaning to them. Pride gets in the way of our walk. Whatever you do, do the very best you can do at it. I am confident the Lord will bless your humility and ultimately, raise you up to where your work abilities truly are.

I add my prayers to others for you and your family. God Bless You.

Nick P.

God bless you and your family.

I will be praying about the church situation.
About the job issue, I think you have great advice from Nick P. My husband used to deliver papers when we needed extra money. You may have to work 2 jobs but that is better than nothing. The Lord will promote you in due time if you keep trusting him.
