A wonderful friend has just suffered the tragic loss of her 3-year old son and they are still unsure what happened to him. He was complaining of a tummy-ache and she put him down for his afternoon nap. He never awoke. Christie and her daughter were both rushed to the hospital later. Christie is now dealing with fear and mental images of finding her son. Please pray for her that our Heavenly Father will draw Christie close and comfort her and her family in this time of pain and loss.

Father God,
We lift up to you Christie. We ask that you show her favor O Lord. Let her know that you are there for her. Father we ask that the Holy Spirit will fill her soul and mind. Father we ask that you help her deal with the loss of her son. Father speak to her heart, let her know that her son is fine and that he is with you. I pray that she will find some comfort in knowing this. Abba we do not always understand the "why" when things like this happen. But we do trust you in all things. "And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts crying out, "Abba, Father!" Galatians 4:6 NKJV.
My salvation and my honor depend on God. He is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Psalm 62: 7-8
Father we prayerfully ask these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord Jesus, only You can comfort this poor child. Please in Your great mercy, envelope her in Yourself and grant her peace and freedom from all that would torment her. Fill her emptiness and grant her hope. For in You we place our expectation. Trustworthy is our God!

Merciful Father, we ask you to release your healing on the hearts of Christie and Family. May you send angels to comfort them. May You, God of hope, fill them with peace as we trust in You, so that they may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit!

I am praying for God's hand on Christie's family and those who love them that He would minister love and comfort and grace and ease the sorrow they feel. May He help them to not feel guilty or angry.

Heavenly Father,
Lord, Christie is in desperate need of you. I ask that you touch her, take your loving arms and hold her like she has never been held before. Lord I thank you for your unconditional love and I bind Satan and the principalities of darkness from Christie and her family. We thank you for Christie not turning away from you but seeking you.
