Will you please pray for my daughter? She is in jail and will be for 16 months. Her mother in law wants to take her rights away from her and our family does not want that to happen. She also will not let us see our grandchildren and she was court ordered to do so. We do not have the money to take her back to court. Please pray for us. Thank you

Tigernancy, I lift you, your daughter and your whole family up in prayer. May God shine down on you all and let your daughters in-laws see that their grandchildren deserve to see and be loved by both families. Keep Faith. In Gods Name, Amen.

Tigernancy, I joined today so I could encourage you. Ny sister is finally turning her life around. These things take time. Perhaps you will need to pray and love your daughter for some time before you see change. Your responsability is also to your grand children. You must do what is best for them as you and the other grandparents are in a position to care and protect them. My sister lost custody of her kids for a time and that was best. She now has a great relationship with them. Work with the other grandparents involved in this temporary problem as this is your best option to remain in contact with the kids and provide support. Usually the courts have counselors which will help a grandparents rights at no charge. This service goes by various names, (depends on the county), call the court. My God give you wisdom and strength for the task ahead. K52

Thank you for replying. This is an update on the sitution. My daughter will be getting out of jail in July and her children were adopted out. It is an open adoption so she will be able to see them when she gets out along with us the grandparents. We have already seen them. Also please pray for my husband he has prosate cancer which has spread to the bones. He has had to quit his job and I do not make enough to support our family. We have a great church family which is helping us. Please pray for a divne healing.

Hello Tigernancy,
So much misery around us each day, almost to much to handle. How can we go on? Each of us has thought this from time to time. As a young Christian years ago, my pastor taught me to pray for those in need when I am in need. There is something healing in praying for others hurts, wounds, crushed hearts and dreams. Praying for others takes us out of our needy world and into the presence of God. Perhaps this is what Paul did also when he wrote the following from prison: Phillippians 3:8-14 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. 12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Just as Paul conducted his life to "press toward the mark", we must also, forgetting what is behind us and looking to what lies ahead. In God, we have our being, our reason for living, and we walk toward that "high calling of God in Christ Jesus" who is always there for us. Today, the day we commemorate Jesus Christ dying for our sins, is a good day to rededicate our lives and purpose in our hearts the charge to us to "press forward". In crisis, we cannot do this under our own strength, but we can do this under the strength of the Lord Jesus Christ. May you have His strength and comfort this weekend. We will be in prayer for you. When I was in trouble with the law 14 years ago I remember the prayers of my loving mother and the encouraging words of Love from a Pastor. Pastor Wiggins ministered to me while doing comunnity service for the court. It was the fruits of the people that loved me and prayed for me. I give God all the Glory for sending me people with grace, patience, love, peace and Word. My prayer is that your daughter receive's God's spirit in a mighty way. I pray she yields to God and allows him to mend the cracks of her soul. May he saturate her with a new heart and mind. God is ready to bring restoration to the circumstances at hand. I will stand firm in the gap for your family. In Jesus Name! Amen!
22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23 John Trevino |

Thanks to everyone that has responded to my prayer requests. Anyone that lives in the Waco/Robinson area is invited to my husbands benefit. He has prostate and colon cancer and is only 44 years old. It will be on March 29th at West Robinson Baptist Church from 12-7 pm. Thanks again and God is an awesome God.
