Hi Everyone,

I am in serious need of prayer. I can't seem to cope anymore. I lay awake all night and my mind won't rest in the day. I have cried out to the Lord but He seems to be silent right now. I watch the news and when I hear that someone has died or been killed I wish that I could switch places with them. I know that life is a gift from God and I feel as if I am betraying Him by my wishful thinking.

Please ask the Lord to give me peace in the midst of my storm.

2 Chronicles 15:7 “But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”

Micah 6:8 “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”

I know that this is the longest post ever, and I know sometimes you want to hear things other than scripture. Sometimes it seems like you've heard it before and it never helped then, but really delve into what the Word is saying. Know that we're all praying for you and we're here if you need us.

Praise him
I am praying for your peace and that God would show his grace and mercy. Have you read Steve Troxel's message for today, Tues titled " Nothing too Hard" I think you should read it. I remind you that the word says that there is no fear in perfect love, but perfect love casts out all fear, because fear involves torment. Let God's perfect love permeate your being and thought life. He commands us in several places to not fear but put our trust in him. Get an eternal perspective on everything. Whatever trials you're experiencing now are temporary and subject to change. The things of God and his word is eternal. Your soul is eternal. Know that God sees us with eternal all knowing perspective. He knows the whole picture. Nothing is too hard for the Lord.

Thanks so much for your kind words and your prayers. I am getting a little better each day. My biggest concern is that I have been down this road before and then when I start to feel better I began to have hope again and then before I know it I am right back to doom and gloom. I just want this storm to pass.

I am really awaiting for the moment in which I can give an awesome praise report and inspite of how I feel right now I am keeping my faith because I know that there is nothing too hard for God.
