Hi All,

It was a particular trying day Dylan had an hour pain free thanks to my beautiful friend that massaged him...He painted a gorgeous picture in art therapy, played a little, however still had the worst pain (I am starting to think it is nerve pain), and as we were driving we went passed a hospital. I pulled in because the pain was so bad.

As soon as we ran off Dylan's medical history the stressed and worried look came on the faces, then the doctor appeared and said What do u expect me to do about it? I told him Dylan needs pain relief, at least he was in agreement with me not wanting to turn him into a drug addict. He made an awful comment to the nurse when she said that our doctor couldn't cope with him, he said I am not a magician and I said Neither am I. I really can't believe the attitude...where is the caring concern? At least this doctor agreed Dylan needed to see a neurologist, yet would not give me a referral, he said your local gp can do that. I told him he wouldn't and he didn't say anything...

Anyway he gave him something that u would give to a person with epilepsy and within 5 minutes Dylan was so stoned, he could not even stand, falling, flopping all over the place. He said he could only feel the pain a bit. He was just really off his face, giggling, glassey eye and then the pain returned 30 minutes later...He is not having that again. The doctor looked at him in unbelief and said Oh it shouldn't have that effect on him, it shouldn't work that quickly...I then told him it is the same with me, within minutes I have instant effect with medication. The doctor was so surprised.

On the way home I just said "Lord I can't deal with this, I don't know how, show me, take over", and now I say Lord sort these uncaring people out in Jesus' name.

We have had a blessing the man from the Health Complaints Commission, managed to talk to the pediatrician and the doctor agreed to give us a referral. It really shouldn't have come to this, however it came and I praise God that finally we might be able to go to someone that can help.

On another note, my right eye has been twitching since Dylan has been in really bad pain...and it is annoying, I also know it is nerves...Dylan and I both need our nerves strengthened and restored. We need to get over trauma and distress...it is hard because Dylan is becoming more psychologically distressed from the pain.

The lawyer told me today I have a good case, however he said there is always a chance of it not going my way. He also said it should take between 3 to 6 months and yes the fee they gave me a figure of a small amount to a really high amount and said it will be somewhere in between those two figures. Please pray that it will be at the lower end of the spectrum.

And I am going to let God take over because there is just way too many battles going on here...

I am just so greatful that I can write and put our concerns on here, our requests or just write to release it....and get beautiful responses and wonderful prayers.

Dear Serenity,
today i was reading about Mel Gibson's reasons for making the Passion; and, it struck me that his focus was that the wounds of Christ are what heal us. He said he meditated on the scriptures about this; and, prayed over the things Christ endured for us. And, he found his healing and wholeness through that. Young's Literal translation of the Bible writes Is. 53:4&5 this way:

4 Surely our sicknesses he hath borne, And our pains -- he hath carried them, And we -- we have esteemed him plagued, Smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 And he is pierced for our transgressions, Bruised for our iniquities, The chastisement of our peace [is] on him, And by his bruise there is healing to us.

From those wounds, we obtain our healing. Just as His piercings purchased and secured and provide our pardon for all transgressions; and our peace was secured through the chastisement he suffered, our healing is secured by the bruising (blood shed) within his body. If we will ask the Holy Spirit to reveal Himself and the reality of this passage, I think that we, too, can experience the fullness of the sacrificial gift Jesus has given to us.

My prayer for you and your sweet Dylan today is this: Oh, Lord God~maker of heaven and earth. We come to You in need of mercy. We are in awe of Your power; and, we see it manifest in so many lives every day. We hear stories of healing, and see evidence of Your miracles. We know from Your Word about some of the miracles that You have performed over the centuries. We know that You are a God Who loves His children, and that You do heal our bodies as easily and as faithfully as You forgive our sins.

We come before You today in behalf of Serenity and Dylan; and, we ask for mercy. There are no words to describe a mother's anguish when she can't help her child. We see that Serenity's own pain is secondary to that of her son. Father, Your daughter is faithful to You. She is faithful to praise You and to pray for others even though her own pain is so great. She has endured long; and, Your Word promises that You realize that if we are under the hand of the oppressor too long, we cannot stand.

So, we ask You to act. Now. Show Yourself faithful. Show Yourself powerful. Glorify Your Name and the Name of Your Son, Jesus. You have told us to not withhold good from anyone to whom it is due, when it is within our power to act. Father, You have the power to shower your daughter and her child with good. We ask that You honor Your Word; for we know that You require nothing of us that You Yourself do not hold to.

Father, we know that You have said we would know the Truth and that the Truth would set us free. I ask that You bring forth Your Truth. Your Word is Truth. Show this plague that has been upon Your children for what it is. Set them free in the Precious and Most Powerful Name of Jesus.

Lord God, we abide in You and Your Word abides in us. We know that because of that we can ask whatSOEVER we desire; and, it will be done unto us. We desire the complete and total healing of Serenity and Dylan; and, we thank You for Your faithfulness to Your promises.

Father, we come boldly to the throne of grace, knowing we will obtain mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. We ask only that which is rightfully due us as children of the Most High God"”set Your daughter and her child free from Satan's hold on their lives. Grant them blessings and good days at least equal to the number of bad they have endured.

We look to You for mercy, Lord. If we find favor in Your eyes, if You think it the right thing to do, if it pleases You have mercy this very hour upon Your children. And we will give You all of the glory and honor and praise that is due Your Name. May You and Your Son be ever praised!

Thankyou for your encouraging words, thankyou for your beautiful prayer, thankyou for being the channel that the Holy Spirit chose to speak to us through. As you were writing these words Terri I was reading a passage from Healing adventure and it directed me to a passage in the bible...

May the stricken and sin-sick world about us be able to see in the lives of Christians the ony sermons it is apt to hear. May our lives proclaim victorious living, the healing of broken minds, bodies, spirits and souls; an the restoring of broken relationships by the mercy and grace of our Risen Lord (Luke 10: 27-28).

"You shall love your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbour as yourself" (Luke 10: 27-28).

You see we can Love God...however it hasn't at times been with our all, at times we have not trusted him in a moment of intense pain, anguish, incredible intense fear, we have tried to battle in our strength, we have grasped to soothe our pain with just about any tablet or therapy that might help give us relief, however we are truly wanting deliverence, we need a Moses type proclaimation...Let my people go with God's presence and authority and we are truly broken. We have been broken by many different people, experiences, institutions etc...and my other sister in Christ Gail is also broken. When you have been broken, had your life absolutely shattered it is easier to trust God than your neighbour...even when you want to truly forgive him/her. Everytime you start to build again in the Lord, someone, something, some illness comes along and sabotages and you or the person involved don't even realise until it is too late...However I also know that it is in that brokeness that he is absolutely Strong.

Right now we can only live each second and gain resprite in those precious painfree seconds...however even through the screaming I can feel Jesus just calm the storm and it is beautiful. Along with crisis I see hope, a long with sadness I see joy, along with disaster I see renewal, along with insecurity/inadequacy, I see boldness, along with despair I see hope.

Thankyou Terri for hearing this call, u have answered and we feel so blessed. The problem has also been with Dylan not really fully trusting in God for his healing, not fully surrendering his sins to the Cross, or releasing his own resentments, disapppointments and not trusting and resting in the Lord's presence. He hasn't been ready for prayers, however he said Mum can you go online and see if there are prayers for me, and now he is ready. Everything you have written about being set free by his stripes I have been sharing with him, however he hasn't been ready. I experienced Many years the gift of the Cross and it was amazing...I have really wanted this for Dylan too and he just wasn't ready and now he is...

I will guide him to read your words and also I will print them out for my other friend for she also truly needs them, not to mention other people that are just so broken beyond belief that might come on here and read them.

A song came to me and these words in the song really have meaning and I can feel them permeate along with your post...

Hi Terri,

Just a quick note Dylan drew a picture of Jesus dying on the Cross in January, it is a powerful picture because over it are God's eye's behind it are two other crosses representing the two thieves that died with Jesus and the Cross is resting on a huge love heart which is red and has been formed from the blood dripping out of Jesus' feet and hands (this represents the Holy Spirit). Out of the Lord's mouth he says "Free these people, Lord".

Everytime I see it I have epiphanies and now I had one this morning about this is what we are needing, the Let my people go and also this is what you wrote for us about the cross.

I also see in the picture that it being God's face and also represents the trinity. Even the two thieves on their crosses are a part of the Holy Trinity and these two were sinners and one of them asked for forgiveness and he said you will indeed be in paradise with me. It also represents the Lord's passion and love for sinners etc...

It is just amazing how the Lord met our need in January to be set free and I only just realised it through looking at Dylan's artwork. The Pastor from the church came over and she had a similar path to ours, she spent six years in the wilderness, during the most difficult circumstances in her life and now she has her church. She also told me that they had done purifying work in the area over the water and salt was thrown into the water six years ago..

Pastor Glenda and I spent hours talking, listening and inspiring, talking about the area etc... she has a small church, however this church is being blessed and people are coming at different times. Her church has a burden for children that are killed in abortions, unwed mothers etc...and the church is establishing a home and an adoption centre in the area...

She smiled at different times, when I said it just feels so difficult, because she had been there. She was called out of a church and the result was she was given a church to birth and this is what the Lord has called for us...It is just the process is amazingly difficult for us, but not for God and now I realise more thanever that everything is connected to our health etc...

Also the man who is suppose to be my husband who is distant from us, I saw him up the shop this morning. One of the problems we were having was he was too much a bachelor always wanting to be with his mates (male friends) to the point there was no time for Dylan and I. Indeed everytime we were together there was constant interruptions etc...in the whole time we were together we did not have one weekend where we could just be together with the Lord.
Anyway he has now sold his other car which only had one other seat and now he has bought a sedan family car and it is a beautiful car. I remarked about him getting rid of the car he loved and he said it was time, he was ready to buy a new car.
He wanted to show it to me, he wanted me to see it. He was resentful of me and others for having what we had...and I revealed to him that the Lord wanted more for him and he wanted to bless him, but he couldn't because of the way he was living and now the Lord has shown me this person is getting blessed. Which is wonderful...although I did feel a pang of self righteousness rear its ugly head particularly regarding Dylan's health. So I asked the Lord's forgiveness and I am happy because he is happy..it is good this man is coming out of his lack beliefs etc...

All in all the Lord is still blessings us and answering our prayers just in unexpected ways. The Pastor invited Dylan and I into the church which is only ten minutes drive away, I still love being in the other one thou.

Oh and Dylan when he read your post he said it was pretty powerful, I asked him if he read mine and he said no, so he did and he said the two for him together was powerful...He then prayed and said he was sorry and prayed that he be set free from the pain in Jesus' name. So I ask that you stand with me in agreement with Dylan that the Lord will bless him by answering his prayers.

Dear Serenity and Dylan,
My children are 23 and 24 years old now. Their daddy's lifestyle was similar to what you describe your husband's to be. The children and I lived in a very unstable and lonely world for many years. My health was damaged and they both are overcoming emotional feelings of abandonment. But, through it all; God was faithful. Recently, He has answered our prayers. The children have a new and healthy relationship with him; and, he is giving glory to God for his healing. We have seen the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

I think one thing we lack today in the presentday church is the commitment of the body to stand in the gap for our members who are being attacked. You and Dylan have been under seige. It is our responsibility to stand for you before Almighty God and plead your case. It is our job to speak to the mountain; and, to deny the enemy access to you. We want to pray a quick prayer and be on our way. But, Christ said there are types of oppression that only respond to prayer and fasting.

I am going to ask the body to unite in prayer for you...to stand in the gap until we see God act mightily in your behalf. God is faithful to His word. When your healing becomes our heart's desire, He will act in response to our prayers.

May the Hand of the Almighty God be upon you Serenity and Dylan today. Mountain of pain and suffering be removed! And, be cast into the sea, never again to surface. Father God, we come to You in accordance with Your Word. Your Word is true. We bring our loved ones to You, and we plead the blood and annointing of Your dear Son be upon them. Father, if it is the right thing to do, restore them as a family. Heal the hurts of the past, and grant them love and respect for each other. Let Your Name be glorified in their lives, Father. Let Your power be released in their behalf. Bless them abundantly! Bless them according to Your goodness and love. And, may Your precious Name be ever praised! In Jesus Name we ask this. Amen

Thankyou for explaining things to me about your own situation. Thankyou for showing me the light at the tunnel in your family. Thankyou so much for just being there for your family and here with us now. Our topsy turvey life is the result of genetics, other people, circumstances and many battles we get dragged into we really don't want to be in.

Thankyou so much for your request to the body, this is exactly as we need. I read and feel we need soaking prayers. Regeneration, restoration are words that run deep within and this is what has been predominately in our lives for over six months now. However whenever we do something/someone comes along and sabotages our efforts. We get restored and praise God and then bam....knocked over. At present there is a series of Christian talks online about leading Balanced Christian lives. What we are required to do seems huge, however the Lord restored some Gusto in to me this morning, this Let's get on with it type oomph energy just flowed....also the knowing of the presence of God and how powerful it can be in different lives.

Thankyou for hearing our request in the spiritual realm and responding in the earthly realm. I also haven't wasted this time and am learning much about Christian healing and developing new skills, which I know will be helpful not just now, also in future. Also the Lord has revealed to me many situations in this oppression that need healing for and praying about and so I respond. Dylan is also learning and becoming more and more beautiful for Christ and is developing courage through this.
We know what the Lord can do, we need support and thankyou so much for responding to this.

thankyou Grace and faith you are always there for us despite your own battles you face. We truly appreciate your compassion and concern and thankyou for your prayers.

It has been raining here really constant and Dylan was starting to have difficulty with asthma, allergies I remarked to God how good it would be to have the sun shining and today it is such a beautiful day...a good day to get things into the Lord's order, a good day for Dylan to play. A good day to have off from our storms...
