Dear God's Daily Word friends,
Several months ago I posted a message about my two little granddaughters and shared that my husband and I were trying to get custody of them. Well... I would like to share that we do indeed have custody of them now. God works in such awesome ways to accomplish His will!! After eight months of legal work on the custody case, the girls' mother decided that she did not want to go to court and "fight it out" but decided it was in the best interest of her children that she sign permanent guardianship over to us. The judge signed the order and we are not their permanent guardians. We have had them since last July 7th. They are doing really well...they are four and six years old now...we have grown accustomed to having them since we have had them almost a year now. Thank you so much for all your prayers during this time. It has been an emotional roller coaster to say the least! Continue to pray for us as we try to raise these two little girls to love Jesus. It is going to take a lot of energy and a lot of patience!!
