Each year as another one ends and another begins, I am reminded of the faithfulness of God.

Deuteronomy 7:9 "Know therefore that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments;

I ask myself, just how much have I kept your commandments, Lord? How faithful have I been to You, when You are always faithful?

And so my prayer for the New Year is a song by Philip Stanley Klein --

“Show Me Thy Ways, O Lord”

Show me Thy Ways, Oh Lord
Teach me Your Truths and guide me.
Show me Thy Ways, Oh Lord
For You are My God and You are my Savior.

I thank you, Lord, each day, in every way, for my salvation.
You lifted me out of the darkness, Lord, into the light.
You gave me eyes to see inside of me, a revelation.
Your Word has given what I need to know
To change wrong to right.

Forgive my iniquities
Although mine are great, Oh Lord
