Good Morning Family!!
How is everybody after fasting? Serenity thanks again for the invitation to participate in the Australian Day of Prayer. It was personally an awesome day.
So Prayer Warriors, buckle up because today is Nation Day of Prayer in the US. Let us go before our Father God and lay our hearts before Him. Let us join together as the Body of Christ and go prayerfully before God in prayer. I am going to continue to fast for today as well and keep my focus in prayer on Jesus Christ. Have a great day!
."Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God. I always pray for you, and I make my requests with a heart full of joy, because you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. And I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again.
(Philippians 1: 3-6)

Bcasey,

Thank You, I reminded our prayer chain at work to keep in prayer. We got together at work at went in prayer!

I posted this yesterday, thought I would share it!
Prayer for the Nation 2004

By Dr. Barry Black, Chaplain of the United States Senate
As a sign of unity, we are asking people to pray the Prayer for the Nation at noon on May 6, wherever they are. Some will be at a public prayer observance at that time, while others will be sitting in front of their desks at work. Regardless of his or her location, it is important that His people, who are called by His name, seek Him in unity. If people participate in this form of corporate prayer, it will be like a wave of prayer flowing across our country.

Gracious God,
You have been good to us beyond our deserving, making our Nation a land of liberty. Help us to protect our freedoms with diligence and integrity.
Lord, bless our military as it advances freedom’s cause around the world. Bless also the institutions of power and influence in our society - the government, the churches, the media, the schools and the families. May each bring glory to Your name.
Forgive us when we stray from right paths. We place our trust in You, O Lord, believing that Your hand will sustain America. Let no shadows obscure the pathways which we should tread.
We pray in Your holy name. Amen.

THE WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON
NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER, 2004
BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
A PROCLAMATION
In his first Inaugural Address, President George Washington prayed that the Almighty would
preserve the freedom of all Americans. On the National Day of Prayer, we celebrate that
freedom and America's great tradition of prayer. The National Day of Prayer encourages
Americans of every faith to give thanks for God's many blessings and to pray for each other and
our Nation.
Prayer is an opportunity to praise God for His mighty works, His gift of freedom, His mercy, and
His boundless love. Through prayer, we recognize the limits of earthly power and acknowledge
the sovereignty of God. According to Scripture, "the Lord is near to all who call upon Him . . .
He also will hear their cry, and save them." Prayer leads to humility and a grateful heart, and it
turns our minds to the needs of others.
On this National Day of Prayer, we pray especially for the brave men and women of the United
States Armed Forces who are serving around the world to defend the cause of liberty. We are
grateful for their courage and sacrifice and ask God to comfort their families while they are away
from home. We also pray that the people of Iraq and Afghanistan, and throughout the Greater
Middle East, may live in safety and freedom. During this time, we continue to ask God's
blessing for our Nation, granting us strength to meet the challenges ahead and wisdom as we
work to build a more peaceful future for all.
The Congress, by Public Law 100-307, as amended, has called on our citizens to reaffirm the
role of prayer in our society by recognizing annually a "National Day of Prayer."
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, do
hereby proclaim May 6, 2004, as a National Day of Prayer. I ask the citizens of our Nation to
give thanks, each according to his or her own faith, for the freedoms and blessings we have
received and for God's continued guidance and protection. I also urge all Americans to join in
observing this day with appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this thirtieth day of April, in the year of
our Lord two thousand four, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two
hundred and twenty-eighth.
GEORGE W. BUSH

Praying and fasting is going Good!!!! Glory to God!!!

22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

Hi Brian

Thanks for the invitiation. It wasn't a national prayer day here it was at a church and it was the women and children praying for their families and it is just before Mother's Day which is this Sunday...

Thankyou for the invitation...I had huge insights on the prayer and fasting day and today knew I had to just rest in the Lord. I have tried to eat and am not that hungry and so now that I know it is your prayer day I will continue to keep the focus on the US and families...

Things really shifted here and things look really promising, even with the law case I am about to go through....it looks like it could be expanded...I just pray that I don't fall a part, I can stay in the Lord and just rest in him all the way through it.

We have had traumas here and I read this can happen sometimes after breakthroughs...Thankyou once again Brian for letting me know will contintue to be with the law and will do a silent prayer and focus for the United States...and do what the Lord directs me to do love and blessings in the Lord....

Serenity
