>We are in urgent need of prayer. Two of the three tumors my dad (Roy) has have started growing. The large tumor is stable but the two smaller tumors located above and behind the ear are growing. He will be having a PET scan tomorrow where they inject a radioactive sugar isotope which the true tumor cells will absorb. The true cancer cells will glow. What is unusual is that normally the tumors are either all stable or all growing, not both. They do not understand why one is stable and the others aren't so this test will tell for sure if they are growing or if we are seeing distortion from radiation. Both doctors feel the tumors are growing but they want to confirm it through this test.

We have stopped the chemo for now until we can see what is going on. If we can start chemo again it will be the tradition IV chemo not the take at home kind we have been doing all along. He is nearly unable to walk at this point. He does not feel bad, has absolutely no pain and has a great appetite he just is having problems with balance and walking.

Please keep him in your prayers for tomorrow during the test and pray for God's will, of course we want good news but we know God is control. Pray for mom (Peggy) and her strength and that she can handle whatever news we get from this scan. We should have results in 2 days.

Lord, There are so many people with sickness/diseases and we ask that you heal them all. Lord we know that only you know what will happen in these lives and we thank you and ask that you give us a glimpse of your plan. Lord touch and heal there bodies right now. Bless/comfort the family/friends of each family members. Father we thank you right now for your healing power. Amen

Dear Julie, we agree that our God is in control! We agree that your momma will be granted strenngth to endure this testing of their faith. We agree with Tanya and ask the Lord to touch your Daddy's body right now; and to bless and comfort your family and friends. We believe that You O Lord are the healing balm of Gilead. We know that as Your Word foretold Your coming, Malachi saw the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings. We look at You and that is what we see Lord. Righteousness and healing! And, we ask that in Your faithfulness to Your Word, You manifest Yourself in Julie's father's body! Touch him and heal him completely! We ask this in Your Holy Powerful Name! Trustworthy is our God!

Dear Family and Friends,

We got the news we feared, the tumors located near the ear have definitely grown. Please pray for us as we go to the doctor tomorrow to discuss options.

Furthermore, mom and I have been concerned, call it a gut feel, that dad was having some brain swelling. Well, this morning at about 12:45 AM he suffered a seizure. The CAT scan showed some brain swelling on the right side of his brain, just like mom and I figured. They gave him steroids in the ER and then increased the amount he will take at home. He fell very hard landing on his knees first on ceramic tile and then just fell straight forward and his face, luckily landed on carpet. He is terribly sore today, pretty much unable to walk and his nose is pretty banged up from hitting the carpet. They x-rayed him to make sure he hadn't cracked his knees because of the fall.

Praise God for the fact that the fire dept. is directly behind their house so they got there fast and that Eric and I can be there in less than 5 minutes. Actually Eric and I made it before the ambulance did! Thank God that there were some friends at our home at that time that could stay and comfort the boys.

Pray for guidance for us all and strength for mom.

Father, You are fully aware of Roy's condition and You are there with the him and the family despite this attack by the enemy. Lord, we know we are not under the dominion of darkness. We know that You are our King and that You reign over all the earth. We know that Greater is He that is in me, than He that is in the world. We know that You Yourself bore our sicknesses and carried our diseases. We know that by Your stripes we are healed...Lord, Manifest Yourself to Roy and Steph and the family and the doctors. Move in a mighty way in His behalf. Touch and heal Him, according to Your Word, and according to Your great love and mercy. Show Yourself merciful, Father. Glorify Your Name and the Name of Your Son, our Saviour and Deliverer, Jesus! In Whose Precious Name we pray. Trustworthy is our God!
