Dear GDW Family,

I'm ready to begin the free distribution of A Closer Walk - Volume 3. I have already sent out many copies within the US and to several ministry leaders in other countries. If you would like a copy of this devotional book, please use the following web link:

The book distribution portion of this ministry has grown considerably. In the last five years we have given away nearly 100,000 devotional books. This has been a wonderful blessing - a lot of work, but still a blessing. I pray we are able to continue with book distributions for many, many years.

My trip to Kenya in July and August was incredible! I have many pictures, video, and audio clips posted on the web site. I will continue to improve the presentation of the web material, but for now I pray these posts will give you some idea of how God is working. The Africa link is at:

Please continue to pray for the direction of this ministry. Jesus said to look at the fields, they are white for harvest (John 4:35). When He says "white" for harvest He means the time is urgent, the time is now. When the fields are white, any delay means a loss of the crop. I often feel this way in ministry. The opportunities and needs are amazing, but how to be most effective and aligned with God's priorities is always a challenge. My trip to Africa opened even more doors. I obviously can't walk through them all - I can only give each day to the Lord and allow Him to guide one step at a time.

I humbly come to you asking that you bless this ministry in a mighty way. Father, we thank you for using Steve in a mighty way and we ask that you continue to bless him and his family. Father, we thank you for his family not being selfish and that they allow us the feed off of Steve sensitive ears.

Father, we thank you right now for all those who are obedient to your voice. Father we thank you right now for your mercy and your grace as we know you did not have to shed it on us but you did. Lord we thank you right now for your arms that reach out so many times and save us from danger seen and unseen.
