I received the following prayer request today from Carla on the GDW mailing list.

I am not sure if you send out prayer requests, if not i wonder if this could be an exception to the norm? My Pastor (Calvary Chapel kommetjie, South Africa), Julian, has a lovely son (Johnathan) of approximately 14 years. Unfortunately he was initially miss diagnosed (he has encephalitis) & is now in a semi-comatose state. I know there are many believers reading your GDW & Johnathan could do with their prayers right now. He suffered a number of seizures before being diagnosed & has really had a tough time. Julian and his wife also need prayer.

Thank you for the request. Father God, In your name I pray for you to bathe Pastor with your healing touch. LET HIM BE A TESTIMONY OF YOUR HEALING POWER. Grant the whole family with peace, courage, and strength.I stand in agreement with you and all the others praying.. In Jesus Name Amen!

I am praying for healing and whatever else that he needs and you his family needs. We sometimes don't understand why these things happen to us and fear and doubts can grip our hearts. May the God of peace and love encourage your hearts and strengthen you and deliver you from all your fears.
