Dear brethren,

I need help discussing something I find peculiar and has always baffled me.

Whenever I have testified about the great works and miracles Jesus has done in our lives, the next moment, I undergo attack to such an extent that what I testified about is negated. An example in in order.

The recent testimony I gave was of my health by His faith. Before 8 years ago, I'd fall sick on a monthly basis of all sorts of small ailments, until a brother in the Lord encouraged me about living a sick-free life by standing on the Word. For the next 8 years I enjoyed good health. Now, when I testified about it, believing that the former "jinx" was gone, I fell sick. I was standing on the Word until the last minute when I had lost so much weight that my wife would cry herself to sleep. I went to the Dr. and now I am recovering, small ailmment again. This is one example.

I thus tend to think that the old saying, "Do not tell anyone your plans and the devil will not spoil them" may have some meaning. BUT I know that the Word of God says we overcame him by the blood of Jesus and by our testimony.

I have usually not testified because of this unease of retaliation. On the other hand, I usually wonder why live in fear of the evil one as if Christ died in vain, but when such things happen, I get discouraged. I get disappointed in a sense when the Word fails to come alive.

I will appreciate all feedback.

In Christ alone,

Willy

Willy,

satan will always attempt disrupt our ministry. The more we do the will of God, the more satan will want to hinder us. God has all of the power to defend us from the enemy through prayer and faith in Jesus. I will be praying for you. The following scripture has always encouraged me when trials seem to be heaver then normal.

2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.(James 1:2-6)

Thanks Shawn,

Today I made a committment to become a more active Christian. To seek the Lord that He will lead me to the path He wants me to follow.

I have always been too shy and always feared what others will think about me, I have always wanted to keep the Peace.

However, I realise more and more, that that attitude is a recipe for stunted Christian growth.

I am believing God that step by step, I will be able to change into that bold and unfearful person as it is written in 2 Tim 1:5-6.

Thanks for the prayers,

Willy

Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in ALL circumstances for this is God's Will for you in Christ Jesus.

Willy,

I was praying with my prayer partner a few months ago and all of the sudden my words began to sound like crumble. I shouted out to the Lord and He heard my cry. Satan was trying to attack us and that's what he is trying to do to you. Please don't stop testifying because sometimes God allows things to happen to us so that we can share our stories with others in order for us to be a blessing in their lives. Remember when Jesus raised Lazarus He said, "This is for the benefit of those who don't believe".

Keep the faith,
Praise Him

Thanks,

I apreciate.

It is one of those Elijah times when I got pretty discouraged and "fled" to the hills. But the Lord, through you and others, has spoken to me about the times.

With regards the satanic atack you had while you were praying with your partner, let me say this since I was a child, from as far back as I can remember, I have had satanic attacks where some form of spiritual power comes and shuts my mouth and as constricts my body so I cannot move or speak. Before I received Jesus, I used to wonder what this was & lived in fear. After I gave my life, I realised what I was up against. Since then, I have known how to rebuke the attacks. The worst attack was when I was lifted from my body to the ceiling and as I tried to call on the name of Jesus, my mouth was shut so I started to speak in tongues, then the attack seceded. I have never udnerstood why these attacks.

This is my first time to share this experience as I have been scared to talk about it.

Apparently, my great grandparents on my fathers side, were occultists, before Jesus was preached in these parts of the world. We have since broken the curse and all our family has received Jesus. I think the same things used to happen to my sister as she insinuated it one time.

So, I believe He has given me sufficient Grace to go through these moments of trial, which co-incidentally, I have started enjoying as they strengthen my faith.

The Lord bless you as you enjoy the celebration of the resurrection and crucifiction of our Lord Jesus Christ.

In Him alone,

Willy

Willy,
Your words speak of a strong commitment to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You must remain strong in the Word in order to fight these attacks by the enemy. You are a child of God, you have been saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. You belong to Him; therefore you are threat to the enemy. But ever since you gave your life to Christ you have all the power of God behind you to fight these battles. Do not be afraid or ashamed to speak the Word or the name of Jesus Christ. The more you speak of Him the more strength you will have. The enemy always attacks when there is a threat Remain strong in your love and faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus. He will protect you, guide you and he already has delivered you. Here are a few verses that will help in your times of trouble. I speak them when I am under attack:

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
(Philippians 4:13)

Arise, ADONAI,
Confront them! Bring them down!
With your sword deliver me from the wicked.
(Psalm 17:13)

You come against me with sword and spear and javelin,
but I come against you in the name of the
Lord GOD Almighty
(1 Samuel 17:45)

The Whole Armor of God
Truth, shall be your Sturdy Belt
God’ Righteousness, shall be your Body Armor
The Good News, shall be your Peace
Faith, shall be your Shield
Salvation, shall be your Helmet
The Spirit, which is the Word of God, shall be your Sword
(Ephesians 6:13-17)

The LORD is a warrior;
Yes, the LORD is his name!
(Exodus 15:3)

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.
Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
If you do this, you will experience God's peace,
which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand.
His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
(Philippians 4: 6-7)

“ I am your Creator.
You were in my care even before you were born”
(Isaiah 44:2)

"Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
(Hebrews 13:5)

Your Brother in Christ,
Brian
