Hi All,
Hope you are well. I am doing ok. This past weekend I saw my husband after a month at his parents house. He actually talked with his parents and me for half an hour which usually does not happen. His mother and I were happy and suprised. On Sunday after church I went over for lunch. My husband came and started talking to me while I was eating-then he pulled a chair and sat and talked with me for another half and hour. We talked like old times about the baby and about just what has been going on in our lives. I went into the living room to rest-he came again and talked to me for an hour and we laughed and joked and he even put his hands on my belly to feel the baby move. This time I was not suprised becasue I knew God was answering my prayers and that my husband was becoming comfortable with me again and we did not feel like strangers. this past few weeks I have been asking God for direction on waht to do-one part wanted to give up on my marriage and the other part does not want to. Everytime i decided not to quit a little voice says rememebr all the things your husband did to you and I would change my mind. So I have been reading christian books on my mind and reading the Bible and praying. I realized that God was talking to me. I had to remember that I had to do my part as a wife and even though things are so tough i had to keep to my part of my marriage vows-"for better or worse". God has the ultimate say but I can do what is right and stil show my husband that I still love him and care. So i have been doing that-it has been difficult but I have to be myself not a revengeful, mean person becasue of the situations. I had to remain who I was. ANd god will do the rest.I have to trust God for everthing. I am very thankful to God and I cannot make it without Him. He shows me His power and his grace everyday! To God be the Glory! |

Promise -
What a praise report. I am pleased to hear it. Stay faithful to God, your marriage and your husband and trust in His ability to work on your behalf and your husbands. I cannot tell you what tomorrow brings nor that your husband's heart will change toward you. But I do know that God is bigger than any of these situations and HE CAN DO IT!!! Keep walking in love with your husband and allow him to see Christ in you. That is what will move his heart. Promise I will continue to pray for you, the baby, your husband, your marriage and your mother-in-law. Keep on keeping on Promise. Do what you know is right in the sight of the Lord. Trust Him with all of it and be obedient to His Word. Remember: "All things work together for good to those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose." Take care and God Bless You my friend. Howie |

Hi Promise! It is great to hear from you. I will say prayer for all involved as well. The most encouraging thing about your report is that God is clearly giving you a wonderful attitude toward the future. An attitude of trusting on Him and His timing. You are a wonderful encouraging!

Promise, seems you are on the right track. Don't ever give up on following the Lord. He is all we ever need. We are complete in Him alone. He knows all our needs and desires. Seek Him always and He will reward those who seek His face. |
