Dear Family, I have been struggling with a situation for months now; and, everytime it seems it's going to be okay, something happens to cause chaos.

I contracted to do a job for the City Wastewater Treatment facility. I hired a scripter (a Christian) out of Detroit; and paid him in advance. I purchased a new server and software for the program to reside on because I wanted to be sure we had a reliable solution. The money I have paid out is more than the amount I bid; but, I felt it was an important project and could help us with future work.

My scripter has had several strokes, and multiple health issues. The program was never completed. I was having to manually monitor it 24/7 in case we had to send out an alert. We finally got it 3/4 of the way complete where I didn't have to be up worrying if it was going to rain (it's a public email alert system for storm water release into the river). Then, about a week ago, the system failed completely. My scripter is too ill to even respond to my emails. The City has now had two failed responses. And, then this morning I got up at 5:00 and sent out manual responses because we had had an alert; and, my emails did not get to their destinations (not sure why, yet).

So, despite all of my efforts to be fair, to be diligent, to invest myself and my resources, it appears I have failed. I believe the Word is true:

Ps 34:5 -
They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

Ps 37:19 - They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

But, I am so weary. I have done all I know to act in a righteous manner in this case; yet, see no success or resolution. The City called me this morning and told me they did not receive my manual email alert. They had emailed me yesterday about the missed alert on Friday night (before I knew it wasn't working).

Please pray for me that this will be quickly resolved. I haven't billed them because I knew we weren't yet stable. So, I am effectively approximately $7,000 down as a result of this job. If I can get it to work and to stablize, I can bill them and get at least most of my investment back. If they decide to drop me, I will lose credability as well as all the money I've spent so far.

I will be praying for both you and the man you hired. God is always in control even when we can't see Him or feel Him and He will work things out. Trust in His Word!!!

Remember that it is always darkest just before dawn. Rely on the strength and resolve of our Lord and Savior. He is in control. He knows your every thought and fear. Trust Him with all your heart. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not upon your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your path." (Proverbs 3:5). Remember to listen for His voice. “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalms 46:10). Father God be with your child Soteria, give her peace and direction, Lord lead her Lord in the path that you have chosen. In Christ’s name I pray. Amen

Dear Family, I come to you today with a heavy heart. First, I want to tell you though my Praise and thanks to God and to you. We have our program for the City working. It has been up and stable for over 24 hours. The City has not told me they are not staying with me, and this morning when I sent them the update, they replied with a "thanks". So, at present, while we are not out of the water, it is apparent God has indeed intervened in our behalf.

Now, for a huge favor. My current husband has a congenital kidney defect. He is a good man, and loves the Lord. He is 37 years old. We saw the doctor yesterday and received the news that his condition has worsened to the point that we need to begin classes to get ready for dialysis and transplant. We are going in for a sonogram (sp?) in a week or so to determine if the tubes between the kidneys and bladder can handle a transplant. If not, we'll have to have surgery first to prepare them. If God does not choose to perform a miraculous supernatural healing we need to start to look for a donor. They have started him on several new medications and we will meet with a dietician in a few weeks.

I feel blindsided. We were told 4 years ago that it would be 8-10 years before we reached this point. We optimistically (or in denial) were thinking the far side of 10 years. At the current rate of deterioration, he would experience total renal failure within 3 1/2.

Friends, I want to ask that you join with me in praying for a miracle. I know that many people consider a transplant a miracle, and it is. But, our God is able and willing to touch us supernaturally if we will but ask and believe. He is not a God that changes. Christ healed ALL who came to Him. Please pray with me for Robert: that we will come to know the Power that raised Christ from the dead. Much love, and appreciation for you all. Terri

Yes John, why limit Him to just healing his kidneys (?)...He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine...

I agree with the others and know that where 2 or 3 gather together in His name He is in our midst and will do those things we ask so that God may be glorified.

Spent time with the Lord this morning and He showed me He has healed Robert. He gave me Esther's story; and showed me that just as she was given the authority to allow the Jews to defend themselves, we have been given that authority as well. We are to rally the troops; and, prepare to defend ourselves against this cruel wicked "Hamman" who seeks to destroy my husband's life. We will be victorious. Our God is able and He will deliver us out of the hand of the Evil One. We will stand still and see the deliverance of the Lord! Praise be to our God who is able to do immeasureably more than we can ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us! Praise be to our God Who looks in compassion on His children: Who listens to our cries for mercy and will not stand idly by. Praise be to the Almighty God, Maker of the heavens and the earth; Whose ways are beyond finding out. Great and Mighty is His Name! Trustworthy is our God!

I have been with the Lord this morning and was discussing Robert's condition with Him, and I want to share with you what He has told me because I know that you will understand and will agree with me in prayer for the realization of this promise.

Father
"Proceed along the path marked out for you.Do not be afraid. Don't become alarmed if the numbers become higher or lower. Don't be alarmed if he becomes ill. I am in control. I will deliver you," saith the Lord God Almighty of Israel. "Stand on My Word. Believe the things I have spoken concerning you. I am in this thing. I love you. I will deliver you at the proper time so that My Name may be glorified."

So, my prayer is this:
So, Lord God Almighty, Maker of Heaven and earth. I believe You Alone are God. I believe Your Word is true. I believe we have whatsoever we ask in Jesus Name according to Your Word.

We ask for Robert's total and complete healing without dialysis or transplant; free of medication or complication. And, we ask that his heart, soul and mind be healed as well. And, that all who hear will be convinced that You are God in Israel, and in the Church, and in this world. That You ALONE are God. We ask that Jesus and His beautiful Name may be glorified. We ask that we may NOT be lifted up in the eyes of man; but, that ALL praise and glory and thanksgiving flow to You through Jesus by the Holy Spirit. We ask that through this Robert and His family will come to truly believe in Jesus as their Saviour and Deliverer and that healing and restoration will come to this family as well.

I also ask, Lord God, that through this Mighty Word, Robert and I and my own children (Alexander, Alisa, Steve, Brian, Terri and Marsha, Cody and Sydney) and our family members, and friends, both now and to come, might see Your power and Love and truth and turn to You with our whole hearts to serve You in purity all the rest of our days. And we ask this in the Name of Your Dear Son and our Saviour and Deliverer, Jesus Christ, the Annointed One. Trustworthy is our God!

Here are some of the Scriptures I am standing on as far as asking for this with confidence:
Joh 14:13 -
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Joh 14:14 -
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

Joh 15:16 -
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

Dear Family,
we went to Chicago Wed. and learned that Robert's condition is more serious than we realized. He is dumping protein at an incredibly high rate. They want to get him into dialysis and ready for transplant as soon as possible. Our donor is no longer a candidate so I am going to be tested. Please pray that I will be a match, that Robert will be okay as we go through the waiting periods, and that God will still (if it be His will) heal Robert completely before we have to start dialysis and so bring Glory to His Mighty Name. We're very tired. We need strength as well just to stay focused on Christ through this as there are a lot of distractions being created by the evil one. ter

Father we lift up Terri and Robert to You and ask that You work in a might way in their life right now. Father You have all the power, strength, love, and comfort that is needed during this time. I pray that you bring them through this difficult time and that they get to see You in a deeper way through this. Father, continue to give Terri strength and peace during this time. Dear Family, can't sleep so got up and reread your posts. We met with Robert's family today and asked them to join us in believing for his complete healing without dialysis or transplant. They are very supportive and we are looking to God for more than just a physical healing now. Please know how important your prayers, Scriptures and notes of encouragement are to us. You and Robert hang in there. God is there and even though sometimes it looks impossible and bleak God comes on the scene. He is a God who is miraculous. He love you, Robert and your family with a never ending love. Remember if God is for us, who can be against us. We love you guys too.

O Holy Father, Daddy,

We come to you today, praising you for your completeness, your holiness, your love and heart of compassion and mercy. Dad, we don't get to see everything like you do. So I am asking that you wrap your arms around Terri, Robert and their family to let them know you are there. There things are going to be the way you have planned them and that good is going to come from the journey. Father, I thank you for Terri and Robert's faith in you and your goodness. You are God. You are our all in all. You are Jevohah Jireh, your provide for all our in need according to your riches in glory. Your riches Father not ours. We know that everything comes from you and we ask right now in the name of your son Jesus Christ that you place your healng hand upon Robert and this whole situation. haven't heard from you for a while. Was hoping to hear an update from you. Know that we are all being steadfast in our prayers for you and your family knowing and expecting God to do a great thing in your lives.

Dear Family, thank you for your words of love and encouragement. I went to Chicago yesterday to start the process to see if I can be a donor. My husband had testing done yesterday to see where he stands. We'll know the results on Friday. We go for dialysis training on Tuesday.

Our prayer is for healing without dialysis or transplant, without medication or complication, that the Name of the Lord may be glorified and praised.

We met with Robert's family on Sunday and explained that the doctors believe his condition is more serious than we realized. They (the doctors in Chicago) want him to begin dialysis immediately and to be looking at transplant within 2-4 months.

It is not that we don't believe it's okay to have a transplant. We just can't believe that it is God's perfect will. The recipient is on anti-rejection drugs the rest of their life ($25-30,000) per year. Satan's fingerprint is all over this: kill, steal, destroy...

So, we ask that you stand with us as we wait upon Our Mighty God Who loves us dearly and Who acts in behalf of those who put their trust in Him. Thank you all for your kindness to us and your faithfulness to the Lord Jesus Christ. Love much! Terri

I am with you in major prayer!


Dear Lord,

There is a time for everything, and a season for every thing but this is a request that we plead with you Lord for your healing power to manifest or open the door with a healthy donor. We cast our all of our anxieties, all our worries, all of our concerns, once and for all because I KNOW YOU CAN DO MORE THAN WHAT WE CAN IMAGINE. Please Lord restore Robert's health so he can be a walking testimony for all that suffer this illness. May you heal his heart and bring him through this suffering. You, the God of all grace- who imparts all of our blessings and favors, Who has called us to abide in you and treasure eternal glory. Make Robert whole and established, grounded, healed, well again.

Satan you have no power over Robert & may God's power remove you from Robert and family. Thank You Lord for having dominion, power, authority,to rule for ever and ever.

I pray you have heard our crys and pleas and I know you have an attentive ear, when we pray in faith!

Thanks for the update. God is remarkable! I am learning more and more each day that He does have a good plan for each of us. Sometimes it is difficult to see it as it isn't always in our timing. You and Robert encourage me with your tremendous amount of faith.

You remind me so much of Martha, Lazarus' sister who when faced with the unbelievable circumstance of losing her beloved brother, dared to believe in what she could not see. Even after Jesus told her that Lazarus would rise and she thought he was speaking of the resurrection of the saints. But it wasn't, Jesus gave her a NOW word for her situation. It all turned around for her when He asked her, "Martha, do you believe?" Something in Martha's spirit ignited and she responded, "Yes, Lord I believe that you are the Christ who came into the world." That passage has changed my life.

It reminds me so much of what you are going through. In the posts above, you have said that Jesus has given you a NOW word for Robert's situation. We need to beleive the fact that it is a NOW word for Robert and you. I hear Him asking you Terri....Do You Believe? Praise God for your faith. Continue stand firm on the promise and do not waver. We are all praying with you and joining our faith with you as well.

I love you guys and know that the God of Glory has great things in store for you both.

Dear Family,
I have to tell you something remarkable that happened last night. Yesterday, I was feeling a bit low. My son has been struggling for deliverance (I know he has been redeemed and we are watching for the full manifestation of this); but, the pressure of the battle has been great.

I told the Lord that I desperately needed to see an answer to some prayer.... I finished reading Andrew Murray's Ministry of Intercessory Prayer yesterday and wanted to see if he had indeed written "With Christ In the School of Prayer" as he indicated he wanted to at the end of the book.

I had received a strange phone call on Monday from a man who said he got my number from a friend of mine. This gentleman, Mr. Schmidt, is legally blind, and my friend had told him I could help him get his computer working so he could see the letters. We had an appointment scheduled for Wednesday night; but, it was cancelled, so I asked my husband to take me to Mr. Schmidt's apartment to see if I could help him.

I told my husband as we drove that I was concerned about having him anointed because I didn't feel certain that the men who would anoint him actually believed he could be healed completely. They wanted to say that if he had dialysis and a transplant, that was God's healing. I believe the prayer of faith heals the sick (James 5) and that if we were to have him anointed, it had to be by men who believed he could/would be healed.

We got to Mr. Schmidt's apartment and learned that he is a minister. 79 years old. And, that God has healed him many times in his life. He has laid hands on many people and they have received God's healing grace. We talked for several hours as he related instance after instance of God's power to heal. Then, he told Robert he would like to anoint him and pray for him. Praise God!

That's not all. I told him I had been reading Andrew Murray's book, and he said he had something for me. He had a copy of "With Christ in the School of Prayer" and "Absolute Surrender". How amazing is our God! He gave me assurance and confirmation from out of nowhere!

We serve a truly amazing God!

Please join with me in asking God to allow me to bless Mr. Schmidt by making his computer do what he wants it to do. I don't have any background with this type of technology; but, I believe God can help us find the information we need.

Praise God for His mercy and Faithfulness! Love much! Terri and Robert
