A co-worker just came to my office and asked me what should she do. She had a very close girlfriend from childhood whose brother died in the house that they share last year. Since then, her girlfriend has been unable to go out of the house, she doesn't answer the telephone, but she will answer her e-mail. This co-worker is very scared for her. She talked to her the other day and she said that she was standing in the kitchen debating whether to slit her wrists so she can be with her brother. It was just her and her brother. I told her that she needs help...but like I mentioned she refuses to go out of the house.

I told her to go over this weekend and spend the entire weekend with her.

I know this was quite long, but it really sounds like she needs help and she don't know where else to turn. I came to this website to ask that you pray for her, and for God to wrap his arms around her and give her comfort.

First of all, I would like to say that you are truly blessed and have been since the day you were born through Christ Jesus who strengthens us. Only God knows how many days we all have left to live in the natural.

You don't have to be saved to pray....but you will be saved if you just ask God. Cry to him for help, strength and comfort and he will see you through all things that the devil tries to put in your path. I am going to pray for you and everyone else on these boards. God is our strength and if we don't have him in our lives, we are making room for the devil to do what he wants with us. Don't go down that path, keep praying continuously and without ceasing, he will pull you through. I used to dabble in drugs (just one kind) but since I have been praying and asking God for forgiveness and to keep the temptation away and let me grow stronger in his word, I do not do what I used to do and I thank God for this. Always remember, if He brings you to it, he will bring you through it. May God Bless you and comfort you. Hold your head up......This Too Shall Pass!!!

I can trully say that God hears our most earnest cry, He is waiting just to hear you say Lord I need you now. Sunny God is waiting for someone just like you, He knows how to give us a new beginning, when we have reached our end. God knows all about us, the bible says He knows the number of hairs on our head, so surely he has the number of your days in the palm of his hand, and He says live then you shall live, call upon him, even in despair He hears you even now.

Please let your friend know that someone is praying for her. No one can carry the pain that she is caring for the loss of her brother, but our Lord is a comforter, and he knows just where she is. Encourage her, that her brother would want her to live and do everything in life that would bring her joy. In her deepest hour God knows and is waiting to hear her cry out to him.
