Praise Report!

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome my son Shawn to a full time position with God's Daily Word.

As many of you know, I've been praying for help with the ministry for several years. In fact, four years ago I thought I would need to quit God's Daily Word if I did not find some help. Each time I came to one of these "crisis" situations, God would give me an extra measure of peace and tell me to wait. I was reminded over and over again that God's ways as well as His timing is perfect.

For the past 20 months Shawn and I have been discussing his joining the ministry. We focused a great deal on making sure of the calling. This can be a very difficult decision for a young man with a growing family (number 2 child due in April). But Shawn was sure of God's call and walked away from a good paying and secure job with a computer company to join me for much less money in a ministry which God can close down at any moment.

Many of you know Shawn from his work on this board for the past year. You will probably now see his name much more often and I pray he will be around for a long, long time. Please pray for God's continued direction.

We thank God for your son and for God's timing. I stand in agreement with your vision and your growth. God is opening up opportunities for this ministry to really expand. I will always be a member, as long as God has his hand in this ministry. We have to press in and plow forward in the things of God. God has a provision and plan for God's Word Ministries. It is a blessing to have your son be involved on the foundation you laid down. I pray for a full protection from God every day forward. In Jesus Name! Amen!
