I think one thing we lack today in the presentday church is the commitment of the body to stand in the gap for our members who are being attacked. Serenity and Dylan have been under seige. You can read their posts. It is our responsibility to stand for them before Almighty God and plead their case. It is our job to speak to the mountain; and, to deny the enemy access to them. We want to pray a quick prayer and be on our way. But, Christ said there are types of oppression that only respond to prayer and fasting. I am asking the body to unite in prayer for Serenity and Dylan...to stand in the gap until we see God act mightily in their behalf. God is faithful to His word. When their healing becomes our heart's desire, He will act in response to our prayers.
The best is yet to be...

Well said. I agree. They have been and will be on my list. Thank you for bringing this dear family to our attention and reminding us to intercede rather than flippintly offering a quick prayer and then going our merry way.

Hi Terri and Grace and Faith,
I am in tears....thankyou. I have been asking for many weeks now where is the Body for us and since then some are starting to respond. Thankyou so much for your response here. There are also many other members in the Body who are also getting attacked and beseiged in different parts of the world. The Church (the Body of Christ) can not be effective and give God's work their all if they are too caught up in defending off attacks. Whatever prayers are asked for with Dylan and I, I ask the Lord also here that they be for all of his body...that his body will be generated, restored on earth just as it is in heaven. Heavenly Father I call on the 70week restoration period now for your church, for every part of the body of Christ...for it to grow effectively, beautiful and totally awesome for you...Where it will be strong, Holy Spirit powerful, inspired and absolutely united beyond any doubt. Jesus may your vision for your Body be inspired and reached now, in Christ Jesus' name....Amen Abba, we love you, thankyou Jesus for dying for us and being our saviour, thankyou Holy Spirit for being with us now and releasing your fruits as needed into the Body of Christ...in Jesus name...amen
love and blessings in the Lord,
Serenity

t2, I agree we need to come together in faith and in intercessory prayer for Serenity and Dylan. We as members of God's word and are bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit can fast and pray God's Word and apply the power of agreement to their healing needs. Matthew 18:19-20 19"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. 20For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." Terry, Thank You for letting the Lord speak through your heart! Serenity, I pray for the anointing power of God to manifest as for pray in unity & faith!
22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

Hi John and Tanya and everyone else,
Thankyou so much. I have grown a lot in the last two days. The Lord is delivering us, what I was seeing as impossibilites for me to deal with, they were...the Lord wanted to deal with them. Now we have been delivered from the medical people that can not do for us what the Lord can do...Also everything else I surrender and place into his hands and now I feel his peace. Also can see the way more clearly and I truly feel blessed and answer his call from walking free from all that imprison us and lay contradictory to his will. I see this illness that Dylan was given, now as a huge blessing. Although it is not pleasant, Dylan is in pain he has learnt so much and is learning to overcome pain and live his life with joy and laughter. He is being brave, courageous and is not feeling sorry for himself anylonger neither am I. I am also using this for service and dedicate this illness unto the Lord and I know the Lord is a Lord of deliverence...So I truly feel joyus, confident and indeed patient and I just love resting in the Lord, it just feels gorgeous...light as all the tasks and what we need to do can now be done with joy...and without interference....
So thankyou for all your prayers for I know that they have encouraged us, we don't feel alone any longer. I can also give all my worries and cares over to the Lord, for he has answered us and is delivering us and will do a mighty works with each area that was troubling us. Also have learnt to honour the desert, wilderness experience and to see along with the difficulties (of trying to walk it in my own strength) I see the blessed joy in that now we truly can be one with our Saviour...and this is what he has wanted all along...for us to rest in him...
love and blessings in the Lord,
