I have so many questions as well as needing a prayer request. I am not only asking for prayers for myself but, for my entire family. My nephew 27yrs young, took his own life early Christmas morning. Of course we are all searching despirately for answers. Why? What if? How could he? The list goes on and on... our hearts are totally broken.. we are just torn in ways that I can not even begin to express. I need assurance that our sweet precious little man is with our Father in Heaven. He was saved many years prior and he loved the Lord.. he didn't do drugs, he didn't get into any bad things in life.. nothing. He lost his arm to an accident 3yrs ago and has had to deal with the pain it caused as well as the pain from a recent divorce. He left behind two wonderful little boys who will never get to be taught how to play ball by their dad. He and his ex parted in bitter ways but, he kept trying to get her back for his families sake but, she chose another path.....and he chose his. How do we begin to heal? love to all...

Hi Sheri, I read your post of 12/31/09 after discovering this site in sreach for some kind of comfort in prayer and praise from the people of the Lord in the aftermath of Haiti' 7.0 Earthquake. Why is a question we may understand our recieve a clear and satisfying answers as to what is the will of God and how could He let bad things happen to good, just and faithful Christians? Yet! we know that only God can heal a broken heart of sorrow and grief in due season, and mend all of our torn dreams back together. All the assurance you need to believe is in the words of Jesus that clearly say "whosoever call on the name of the Lord shall be saved". This alone should assure you and any true believer in the life and ressurection of Jesus that those who are asleep will stand in his presence on 'That' day. Please continue to read the word of God and learn of His ways for this is the passway to true healing and wholness. Pray for those who are less fortunate than yourself, as the Haitian people who's losts in the hundered thousand of lives. Choose life no matter the test.Amen

Most precious and mighty God,
I humbly come before you this day asking you to first forgive us for our sins. Master, we thank you so much for being such a forgiving God. I ask that you make crocked paths straight. I ask that you give use understanding where we lack wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Oh Lord my God – thank you. Next, I lift us this precious family. I ask that you heal hearts and provide peace right now in your holy name. Lord God, your word tells us that we can have the peace that surpass all understanding. We ask right now for your peace. We know that your hand is on this family during this challenging times. We also know that you love us so much that is your desire for us to be happy. We will not continue to pray the issue – no we will pray the end in advance. Thank you Jesus for loving use – Amen! Tanya Luke 2:49b Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business? |

Sheri,
I lost my mother_in_law to cancer this past June and I am still grieving. I guess we can console ourselves with the fact that we were blessed to have had our loved ones in our lives and no matter how they passed that love still continues forever. My condolences to you and your family. I will remember you in my prayers. Carol L |
