Just a short background on me, Currently I am serving 11 days in the county jail for a DWI. I am a christian and have used this opportunity to share the truth with the other inmates. There is such a need for people in there to hear this message as they are lost and feeling desperate and alone. God has been calling me to do this for a very long time, maybe not in this manner but what the devil intends for evil, God intends for good. I of course didn't really take his request seriously of me doing bible studies and just talking with them on my own, so now he has laid that oppurtunity in front of me again, and this time around, I am listening and talking, just like he told me to do. What my prayer request is to have doors open for me to get in to be able to do this and share the truth even after i am out. I do believe that God has given me the gift of telling of his grace and mercy and now I am very compelled to do so. As I know to be true, that God does answer prayers, so I am confident that he will lead me in the direction where he can use the talents he has given me to glorify his name.

Lord, we lift Melanie up to you asking you to provide her with the right tongue and the right situations in which she can minister your words to those around her. Strengthen her in spirit and allow you fruits of love and divine power to manifest itself in her current situation. In Jesus name we pray! Amen!
