Please pray for my son. He's 16 and I believe has never accepted Christ (not truly.) He does not want to live by my rules anymore and has decided to live with His Dad. His Dad rejected Christ and claims he does not believe in God ... he announced this to us on the eve of leaving me and my sons. I'm heartbroken and miss my son terribly; hoping he will come home. This morning, after reading Steve's devotional, I realized I was praying for the wrong thing. I'm now praying for my son to have a "changed heart" rather than a "change of heart." Please pray with me that my son will be touched by the Holy Spirit and his anger will be replaced with anger, love, grace and humility. His Dad is an alcoholic, his Step-Mother a convicted felon, so please help me pray that he will be protected by the blood of Jesus. And pray that I'll have the faith of "knowing" that God's plan is in the works and for my heart to rest in that knowledge. Thank you so much.

We have a God who has mercy..I have never been a parent but I can Imagine a son leaving his Mother for his dad...well may the holy spirit turn to your son and dad and change them forever to know who this wonderful God of protection is!! Please have peace dear Mom...all belongs to Jesus..he will anwer you!!

From one Mother to another, I pray that The Lord give you the right words to say to him, the right timing. Heavenly Father,I pray that he will understand clear choices of right and wrong and make the right choices, with Your help. I pray that you(Mother) will be encouraged, continue to love your son and continue in prayer.

Lord, I thank You right now that her son will be delivered from temptation, that he will make the right choices,that he will be set free. II pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, "who brought us out of darkness into His marvelous light!" Amen.
