Hi All,

Two burdens have come to me and they are being in the process of being handled. However what is also needed prayer for two or more to come to prayer now...

Jesus says where two or more are gathered that's where I will be .

The burdens are for the competitive spirit that has engulfed our world. I am called to pray for 3 areas Woodenbong, Urbenville and Bonalbo. This is what has been causing disunity amongst the citizens. This is particularly promanent now since the battle of the Christmas Lights have come. What comes to me is Where is Jesus in all of this?

The second Burden is a local bookstore has been turning homeless away that God has been directing to their door. This can not happen anylonger. Action has been taken, however prayers are needed that those that have been given messages will act upon them. Please pray that the Body of Christ will minister to the homeless everyone where there is need. May there be no excuse of no resources. After all it only takes a moment to pray for these people, it doesn't cost very much to give them a cuppa or a drink.

May Jesus' name be honoured and may we continue to all play our part with boldness in the Body of Christ....

Why is a bookstore required to care for the homeless? Are they Christian? I think it is wonderful to pray for the homeless and to help them when the Lord leads, and I have many times. But I do not think it is scriptural to pray that a specific business help out someone. Perhaps you are called to set up a ministry for the homeless in your neighborhood?
Also, I don't see any problem with Christmas lights. Jesus is the light of the world. The lights beautify our cities and bring joy and delight unselfishly to all. In our neightborhood, several streets provide beautiful holiday decorations, lights, and nativity scenes free of charge each Christmas season to all who wish to come. How wonderful to compete over who can bring the most joy and beauty to our world!

Just a quick visit have missed u all and came on here to find a post prompted by another and yet can't find it and found the questions from Ardith and also thankyou for the prayers for this area and also the bookstore....

In response to your questions Ardith,

As u know December 25th is not the real date of His birth, yes Jesus is the light of the world and He is the one that lights up our lives and our world so we can go out and be the light in Him to all the darkened areas of our world and that is the light of His love. The problem with Christmas lights and the competition is that it is paganistic, u c in amongst the figures of Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus, the wise men and angels, u c santa, elves, workshops etc....and the competition that comes from it, that people are wanting to win so badly they put themselves into debt, in competitive wars to have the best display and some of the results are absolutely gaudy and do not honour our beautiful Lord....U can also see in the Bible how the Lord felt about a defiled sacrifice and offering to Him about mixing other gods with His way....He loves a pure sacrifice and offering, a pure in Heart people, christmas as we know it now is very much has a lot of other stuff in it, that is not of nor in Him.

As with the bookstore, it is attached to a church and they were sending the homeless to the salvation army because they did not have any resources to offer them, out of a whole congregation they could not find anything to offer the people that were coming to them....not even a cup of tea or coffee or glass of water nor ministering to them...they were just saying sorry can't help, go up the road...Also found out from the blanket packages we gave this bookstore, some people were blessed and kept warm this winter and it was a truly cold winter...We have now been crocheting blankets for people who need to know that He loves them, we don't get to choose who we do it for, nor the colours, He reveals these to us. Last year did one queen size one, hopefully this year have done too and will finish another 2.

Since we wrote this post, am seeing wonderful things starting to happen around us, including one person who was set free from a paralysed future, starting to see unity, and starting to see neighbours connecting around us, have also seen people not being prideful etc...and it is beautiful...People are being friendly to us and it is beautiful to see waves as they drive past, thank u for joining with us in praying for this area everyone and also keep this area and these people in your prayers for they truly are lost and really need His love and He will be and is doing amazing things here...We have also learnt truly this area is saturated with cult christains and traditionalists that do not have the Gospel or live the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their hearts...and so He has given to us, to pray, reach and do what we need to do....in His love and strength...at present we are working with one who will reach the other town and it is all done so beautifully supernatural and is happening as we live, we are resting and watching everything we have prayed for starting to sprout and bear fruit, amen Lord thankyou....thankyou all...

As for the bookshop I was greeted on the phone by one man hello Beautiful the other day with such vitality, only weeks ago this man looked like he was sucking lemons and was down cast, and so we spoke Gospel prompted by Him and also found out another only just told Jesus now that they loved him and so we will keep going into the book store and do what is needed to be done and it is beautiful for we never get to know what we will do nor say until we get there and it jsut happens, and it is out of this bookstore we are getting resources to bless others in different parts of the world and so it is a touching, connecting and watching these people grow along with us and us with them and that is what He does for and in His beautiful children....

Have also learnt that out of the dryest and deadest areas He brings revival and that is what we are praying for, for the whole area that not only will this town and people be for Him, this whole area will be His....of which He has already shown me this and have done the prayer work for it and it is beautiful to also be given seeds of certainity that the bridegroom is coming...

Have a beautiful day in Him, We love u all and miss u and we only now have 13 weeks to go and the 70 week period we were required to walk will be finished and yet what comes after will open up a whole new beginning for us...This period we are in now it has been truly a difficult time, a beautiful time, a learning time, a surrendering time, a time of physical rennovations on our home and above all else a drawing in of and in Him time and He is beautiful to be with and behold, for He is the prize above all prizes that Paul was talking about and to grab hold of the prize...now we are learning to be calm in amongst the storms, to walk free of stress and not let it conquer us for we are more than just conquerers in Him...We are about to go into the legal situation which will hopefully end 16 years of absolute nightmare that we are also thankful for this nightmare, for we would not have clung to him otherwise nor would we be learning or receiving from Him what he wanted us to, we would not have understood it to the depths of our beings...that His children live His message to the world in their hearts united in His....

David Samuel is now mentoring three younger children, still has his pain,yet he is living in Him without screaming, without self pity and it is beautiful and the Lord's surrender is such a gift...and the growth and what this young man knows is phenonmenal and it is beautiful too...
