I want to ask that was is the assurance that when we fall into sin and ask for forgiveness that GOd actual does. Maybe lets me put it this way a couple fell into sin by terminating a pregnacy and have since repented, but two years down the line is like nothing is happening they have been believing God and begin to feel that may be GOd has not completely forgiven them and believe that forgiveness would mean giving teh a baby so please lets talk

Forgiveness from God means the restoration of our relationship with Him. When we try to tie His forgiveness to circumstances we can see, we only point out our lack of understanding about God and the concept of forgiveness. This couple ought to seek the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength; and place their lives in God's Hands. We ALL should pray for His will to be done, not try to create a life according to our own will.

When we commit sin and ask God for forgiveness, He hears us and forgives. Forgiveness is sought in no other name but JESUS.

However, you cannot compare a spotless skin with that with scars. Someone who has never had an abortion but waits for sometime before the baby comes would think the problem is just biological. Whereas it may be both biological and spiritual. The fear of this couple is heightened because of what had happened.

I would like to advise the couple to know that as long as they sought forgiveness with their whole heart, they should also forgive themselves. When we learn to forgive ourselves we should serve God with all of our being and put the past behind us.

There are times when God even would want to prove us if we are sincere in our hearts towards him. The example that readily comes to mind is that of Abraham. He had a child out of wedlock through a maid despite God's assurance for him to make him a father (sin). God made him do a very painful thing - sending away Ishmael when he did not even have a replacement yet. With Abraham's obedience,(repentance) the promised child did not come immediately. It would appear that Abraham went back to square one. But our God is a God of time and purpose. He saw that Abraham was not only obedient but loved him with all his heart.

When baby Isaac came, Abraham could not hold him back from sacrificing him to God when he was tested. The question is - will this couple obey and love God with all their heart whether a baby comes or not? Are they worshipping God because of the miracle they expect?

I must also add that the couple need to pray deliverance prayers or see a deliverance minister since "blood sacrifice" was made. They should also check themselves medically even when they have been prayed for.

Luke 1:37 - For with God, nothing shall be impossible.

The promise of forgiveness

When we fall short of his glory while walking with God we have to reach out to God through prayer, and accept His merciful hands. The Lord wants all of our heart. So we need to remember:

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us for our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9

Whenever you do something that displeases the Lord, as soon as the Spirit of God has made you aware of it make things right with God. His mercy and forgiveness is certain. Take God at his Word and believe Him for forgiveness and cleansing.

We know that we can't change what happened yesterday's sins and mistakes, and with God's help we can use the knowledge to make a better tommorrow.

May the couple keep drawing near to our Lord and know that He forgives our past and puts it away. In Christ," we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins"- all our sins(Colossians 1:14; 2:13).

We need to also forgive ourselfs for the healing to begin. Remember to stay steadfast to overcome the consequences of unrighteous living.

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in the Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1-2

Don't dwell in the guilt if you ask for forgiveness you are forgiven. Don't let the enemy keep you in condemation.

My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed, and sanctified, by the Blood of Jesus.

You and your friends should begin reading the book of John and the book of Romans where they pretty muchh outline God's plan of forgiveness and salvation for all who come to Him. The bible is the true word of God, God cannot lie. When God tells us He forgives us, all throughout the word, He does and He also pputs our sins in the sea of forgetfullness. Every person falls short of the glory of God. All have sinned. When God draws us and convicts us of sin and we believe in Christ as our savior,( Jesus is the only way we can come into God's kingdom and be saved ) Jesus said" you must be born again" ( John 3 ) If we accept Jesus into our hearts as lord and savior, He forgives us of all sin and cleasnses us by His bloood that was shed for us ( John 3:16 ) and makes us a child of God and gives us eternal life. We will sin again of course but now we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ who makes intercession for us and makes us righteous by His blood because He paid the penalty for our sins on the cross. By faith and God's gift of mercy and grace we can be forgiven and given the ability by the holy Spirit residing in us to not sin and to know and walk with God. Perhaps you all could read this together. Do you know Christ? "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life ( John 3:16 ) I will pray for them to heal and that they would know the gospel and put their love and trust and faith in him then grow in the knowledge of God. There are countless promises in the word of blessings for those born again children of God for them to obtain by faith and obedience to his word. Maybe God may want them to get rooted and grounded first as children of his and grow a bit before giving them more children, llet it be in God's will and time. In the meantime, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you. ( Matthew 6:33 )

In the books of laws (in the Bible) i.e. Old Testament, God prescribed sacrifices to be offered by the priests, the Levites and even the individuals. satan also gives his own way of sacrificing to him that is, making us do the exact opposite of what God wants us to do.

The people in the occult shed blood for satanic purposes. They make people enter into covenant by blood and abortion is known to be one of the ways this is achieved. The person doing it may not know. The person may not even be in the occult. For instance, the Egyptians who did what the Hebrews were instructed to do when Egypt was plagued were saved - Gen.9:20 - "He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses".

Gen 9:5-6 says, "And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man. Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man."

Ex. 20:13 - Thou shalt not kill.

God places emphasis on human blood that he had to renew his covenant with Abraham by the cutting of the foreskin.

The only blood permitted to be shed by God for the remission of sin is that of Jesus. This is a godly sacrifice.

Whatsoever we do is a sacrifice. When we praise God, we give him a "sacrifice of praise." Our bodies are "living sacrifice" (Rom.12:1).
