How can my wife say God is granting her the desires of her heart? How can she say she is praying in God's will? Isn't it true that God won't answer your prayers if they are not prayed from a pure heart in obedience to him? She is ignoring Malachi where God says he Hates divorce, Matthew 19 where he says "what God has joined let no one separate." I am praying in His will that he heal her heart and restore my marriage. She doesn't know it, but God has plans for us as a couple, to love, to live, to glorify him in our marriage. Please pray for our healing, her healing, my healing, and pray that our marriage is revived in Christ.

I can feel the pain in your heart. God bless you & your situation. I don't know any details so all I can say is that sometimes we go through terrible circumstances so that God can use us to counsel people with the comfort we have recieved while we were in those circumstances later. I pray that your marriage is restored & if not, I pray that God is able to use you to warn other people on the same road that you were on to help them avoid a future break up.

Numbers 30 I would think has much to do with this. I prayed from the beginning that God not hold this sin to her account (and divorce is a sin because God hates divorce, God hates iniquity (sin) so divorce=sin). I disallowed her desire for a divorce. I nullify and do not confirm her desires for a divorce. I nullify and do not confirm her desires for peace. I ask these things of the Father in Jesus name.

Hi Ramon,
God bless you for standing for the restoration of your marriage. Jesus and Paul had much to say on the topic, and confirm the permancy of our first covenant marraige. I pray God strengthens you, and opens your wife's eyes.
