Why wasn't God's will listed in the Messag Nineveh Login/Join

The message Follow Him to Nineveh comes up far short of understanding God's will.

The will of God is not a secret He has already shown it to us in His Son Jesus. Or as it was put in Ephesians and plainly put by Paul

"1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:"

Why wasn't listed?

As Christians we all should know God's will with absolute certainty.
All the other wills of God are part of joining with His Son.

"Fortunately, much of God's will is found directly in His Word. It's God's will that we live a pure and holy life (1 Thessalonians 4:3-7), and obey His commands (John 15:10). It's God's will that we love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30), that we remain in Him and bear much fruit (John 15:1-8), that we forgive others (Matthew 6:14-15), love others (1 John 4:7), and share the message of Jesus with others (Matthew 28:19-20). It's also God's will to "be joyful always; pray continuously; {and}give thanks in all circumstances" (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)."

Why wasn't the will of Christ mentioned either?

"John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you."

He asked His Disciples to love one another even in the face of death. To Love Jesus and be apart of His will we have to do as He asked. Nineveh comes later.

Hi Matt,

Christ's will is God's will and he did reveal his will at that time...

John 15: 12 reveals Christ's will....Love each other, just as I have loved you. He then continues to reveal his will...in v13:No one has greater love than the one who gives his life for his friends...In that verse he tells them that the greatest love one can give for his friends is to give them his life...and he gave us all his life by dying on the Cross.

Then if u look at 14, he says "You are my friends if you do what I command" and if you keep reading v15, 16 & 17 u see more of Christ's will through these verses.

love and blessings in the Lord,

Serenity
